A person may be unreliable not by intent, but due to **suppressed emotions and inner feelings** that interfere with concentration. #### According to Het Monster: People with a square between Mercury and Neptune tend to **handle information carelessly**, sometimes accidentally revealing secrets. Communication with others is complicated by **abstract, subjective thinking**, which often distorts objectivity. At the same time, thanks to a subtle awareness of **others’ subconscious motives**, they are able to anticipate people’s actions. How exactly they use this knowledge depends on the **overall configuration of the natal chart**. #### According to Catherine Oberti: The square between Mercury and Neptune creates **confusion in thinking, frivolity, and changeability**, as well as **undefined ideals**, which hinder objective assessments. In some cases, a person may **become aware of the chaos within their consciousness** and attempt to distinguish truth from illusion. Consequences of the Mercury–Neptune square: - A tendency toward **distraction and daydreaming**, which sometimes hinders achieving tangible results; - **Heightened sensitivity to subtle psychological signals**, allowing anticipation of people’s behavior; - The need to learn how to **structure thoughts** and verify personal judgments for objectivity; - Potential for **intuitive understanding, psychoanalysis, and creativity**, if the person consciously manages their distractibility and fantasizing. This aspect requires **a balance between dreams and reality** so that the individual can use their deep sensitivity constructively, without falling into the traps of self-deception or superficial thinking. ### Astro Way items - [Select options](https://astroway.info/en/shop/astroway-api-esoteric-pack/) ### [AstroWay API Esoteric Pack](https://astroway.info/en/shop/astroway-api-esoteric-pack/) from $9 ≈ 414 ₴ [More details](https://astroway.info/en/shop/astroway-api-esoteric-pack/) - [Select options](https://astroway.info/en/shop/astroway-api-indie/) ### [AstroWay API Indie](https://astroway.info/en/shop/astroway-api-indie/) from $5 ≈ 230 ₴ [More details](https://astroway.info/en/shop/astroway-api-indie/) [Go to store →](https://astroway.info/en/shop/) ✨ ### Explore astrology further Free calculators, natal chart, online Tarot and other self-discovery tools.
