This New Year’s Eve coincides with the 24th lunar day. This is a very powerful period when we can dramatically change the course of our lives simply through strong desire or sheer willpower. Additionally, the Moon itself is transiting through the sign of [Scorpio](https://astroway.info/zodiac/skorpion/), lending this time a touch of magic. Therefore, all our wishes aimed at transformation are certain to come true. Be bolder and more determined in your intentions. The mood will be uplifted and bright. However, you may not have enough energy for a large celebration with a big crowd, so it’s better to opt for cozy gatherings with family and close friends. The energies of today combined with excessive alcohol could lead to reckless actions, though they will come from the heart and good intentions. Yet, even the most active individuals might end up with minor injuries. Do not leave children unattended tonight—they may come up with some very “interesting” ideas. Tonight, both men and women will exude a special allure. Women will appear more feminine, and men more masculine. There will be plenty of compliments and flirting, and new romantic couples may form. Closer to 5 AM, it will be time to unwind. Reduce your activity to a minimum. This is a good moment for divination and forecasting events for the coming year. And the morning dreams on January 1st may be prophetic. If you have an unpleasant dream, wash it away with running water when you wash your face.

Not only the day has its ruling planet, every hour of the day has one too: [check today's planetary hours for your city](https://app.astroway.info/en/tools/planetary-hours) and pick the hour that fits the task.
