Private Lunar Eclipse on July 17 – The End of the Summer Eclipse Corridor

In the night from July 16 to July 17, there will be a Partial Lunar Eclipse. The eclipse itself will occur at 00:38 Kyiv time (21:38 GMT). A lunar eclipse happens during a Full Moon, when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon’s disk as seen from Earth. All eclipses occur in conjunction with the lunar nodes; since the alignment is not exact, this lunar eclipse is Partial. We can feel the eclipse’s influence most strongly for three days (the day before, the day of, and the day after), though its effects may be noticeable for about two weeks (a week before and a week after). It is best to stay at home in a quiet environment during the eclipse. Generally, people find it difficult to fall asleep during an eclipse, so dedicate time to observation. This eclipse is favorable for releasing ancestral patterns. It becomes much easier during this period to let go of harmful habits and dependencies, which often pass from one generation to the next.

The eclipse will occur at 25 degrees of Capricorn, where the Moon will be positioned. The Sun, in turn, will be in Cancer. Thus, themes related to the Cancer-Capricorn axis will be most prominently activated. During this time, several ancestral or karmic tasks may come to completion. Responsibilities will be lifted from us, regardless of whether we have fulfilled them or not. If we have fulfilled them, we gain the necessary resources for new opportunities. If not, we move forward without special privileges. However, it is important to be ready for changes and not try to hold onto what can no longer exist. This primarily concerns family matters, relationships with children and parents, and consequently, professional development, career advancement, and building one’s career path.

This eclipse creates a strong opposition through the luminaries. On one side, the Moon conjuncts the South Lunar Node, Saturn, and Pluto; on the other, the Sun conjuncts the North Lunar Node, Mercury, and Venus. At the same time, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are all in retrograde motion. Therefore, this period is ideal for reviewing our past, both on a personal level and collectively for society. Although we will be immersed in the past, it will not strongly influence our present thoughts or worldview. It is important to draw certain conclusions and select directions for future development based on past experiences. Thus, reviewing and reevaluating life principles based on new perspectives—both our own and those of the people directly around us—is essential.

Harmonious aspects from the eclipse point to Neptune will help us accept our conclusions and life events more easily than we might expect. We will observe what is happening as if from the outside, and only later will we be able to assess the full scale of today’s events. The Moon’s conjunction with Pluto will generate tension and conflict. Groups of people united by interests or obligations may experience significant upheaval. Therefore, it is beneficial to collectively manage the energetic tension. Emotions may erupt uncontrollably. However, it is important to understand that this is the release of massive blocks, as Pluto does not deal in trivialities—he operates on a large scale. Do not resist tears; release irritation and anger through physical exertion and shouting. But ensure emotions are expressed in a way that is safe for you and those around you.

Now is not the time to take active steps toward change: starting new ventures, launching new projects, or making important decisions. Moreover, some of your initiatives may come to nothing or lose relevance. Instead, direct your energy toward conscious participation in everything that concerns you—strive to look deeper than the physical level of events. During this time, you may notice the slow movement of vast energetic masses that, as they touch human lives, create chaos. Yet the waves that destroy do not lose their captivating beauty, even with the foreboding of the catastrophes they will bring in an instant.

Noticeable changes will only become evident and tangible after Jupiter and Mercury regain their direct motion and speed—only by mid-August. Fully detaching from the influence of past attachments will become possible after Saturn returns to direct motion, at the end of September. Loss and gain are the natural rhythm of our lives. Therefore, do not miss the opportunity to consciously approach change!
