Pluto represents what is hidden and secret in society. From the trivial level of sewage workers to secret police, organized crime.
I recently wrote a small note about Pluto, and now I want to return to it to take a closer look at Pluto’s role in the life of Ukraine, especially since in August the transiting Pluto forms one of the main aspects of the month—a precise conjunction with the natal Black Moon in the 1st house (the house of life for the nation).
This was prompted by a well-known astrologer with a multitude of titles, categories, and naturally, international ones, naturally, the head of the “union”… Because again and again, in her astrological forecast for Ukraine, the conversation revolved only around Pluto’s noble function, which so successfully purifies our government and transforms our society, starting from 2014.
But let me return to my note from July 24. An extraordinary event occurred then. You could say it came out of nowhere—suddenly, the long-promised default by our government was abruptly canceled. I wrote at the time:
“They kept threatening with a default… but the people didn’t care. And now the default is canceled.
Could it also be tied to Russian military aggression? Maybe it’s all about clan infighting, involving mercenaries and weapons purchased in Russia?
And the planets force us to think and reflect. Well, judge for yourselves. Almost everyone, including me until now, viewed the transiting Pluto in the 1st natal house of Ukraine (the house of national life) as a planet of transformation. In this context—the Revolution of Dignity as a chance for Ukraine’s rebirth, regeneration.
But Pluto has other characteristics too. Especially since the natal Pluto is in the 10th house (the house of power). In this case, it represents all coercive, financial power structures and other organized groups (for example, the mafia) that are part of the government. Moreover, the natal Pluto is harmoniously connected to the 8th house (natural and financial resources, strategic factories, energy facilities, large corporations, etc.).
The transiting Pluto has been endlessly squirming (considering its retrograde motion) over retrograde Neptune (with initially tangled ideals and national ideas)—in this case, uncertainty and confusion—and the Black Moon (a chimera)—in this case, hybrid warfare, a hybrid world. So it’s very hard to understand what is really happening in our country…”
Now let’s examine fateful Pluto in light of all its characteristics, as outlined, for example, in Olga Ivanets’ thesis “World Astrology”:
“Pluto represents what is hidden and secret in society. From the trivial level of sewage workers and speleologists to the more sinister level of secret police, organized crime, and self-destructive impulses. It governs what Jung called psychotic outbursts in the collective unconscious.
Pluto, in general, embodies the principle of rebirth as well as the principle of death, so one might wonder whether society benefits in the long term from undergoing such traumas. Perhaps, returning to the analogy of a political organism, Pluto represents a healing principle that forces the collective as a whole to endure wild phases of self-healing in order to feel well again.
The power of the masses, totalitarian and forced collective pressures, forces of destruction, renewal, and rebirth. It is associated with the emergence of nations and nations in states of rebirth and reconstruction. It is also linked to fanaticism, obsession, dehumanization, collective ideas, and ideals. It may indicate the need to cleanse the political organism of old problems deeply rooted within.”
Transiting planets only make their presence felt when they form aspects (especially conjunctions) with natal planets. So, the transiting Pluto we are analyzing, considering the above characteristics, began its truly fateful journey across Ukraine’s natal planets starting in February 2012. At that time, its interaction with the natal retrograde Uranus revealed hidden but growing revolutionary sentiments among the masses. However, since discontent was also brewing in oligarchic and clan circles regarding the president’s policies—who essentially began transferring many of his powers to his eldest son and his ‘young team’—I dare to suggest that the pragmatic authorities decided to curb the unfavorable trends ‘suffering’ under their rule. The plan was finalized by the end of 2012. And from early 2013, a slow but steady buildup of revolutionary spirit began, which in July erupted into a powerful rebellion by the entire administrative center of the Vradiivka district in Mykolaiv Oblast! All this occurred at the conjunction of retrograde Pluto (as an exit from the situation) with Uranus! The events that followed are well-known…
And then, at the conjunction of direct Pluto with Uranus—in November—the plan-1 ‘Maidan’ was approved, and by the end of the month, it was put into action: the forcible (though voluntary in appearance) removal of Yanukovych and his inner circle from power, as they saw fit for themselves.
In early February 2014, Pluto in direct motion formed a union with the Black Moon in Capricorn (corrupt power structures) and plan-2 took effect: the shooting of ‘Maidan,’ Yanukovych’s successful escape with the main assets (leaving the treasury empty) to Russia, and the appearance of ‘little green men.’ In March, at the exact conjunction of Pluto with the Black Moon, Crimea ‘voted’ in a ‘referendum’ to secede from Ukraine and drift toward Russia. This marked the beginning of Ukraine’s dismemberment. In April-May-June, during Pluto’s retrograde phase, the process of territorial detachment continued, and by June it became clear that what was happening in our country was not an ATO (anti-terrorist operation) but a war aimed at destroying Ukraine as a unitary state.
The second tight conjunction of Pluto with the Black Moon occurred from mid-December 2014 to the end of January 2015. January stood out for its backroom deals in the context of the ‘Minsk agreements.’ As a result, Ukraine ceded the Donetsk airport stronghold, Horlivka, and the strategic Debaltseve railway hub. On the altar of the Minsk negotiators, Ukraine sacrificed a huge number of lives—killed, captured, wounded, and missing.
The third Pluto encounter in close contact with this ill-fated Black Moon began on July 21, and on the same day, negotiators gathered in Minsk with the participation of ‘half-traitor Pushilin of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic’ (RIA Novosti Ukraine).
Although the exact aspect between them will be on August 14, it is already clear that nothing good awaits Ukraine in the near future. Shyrokino, under the guise of a buffer zone, may become a springboard for the capture of Mariupol. All statements by the country’s leadership on this matter are ambiguous (now withdrawing troops, now not giving up an inch of land), and their actions are highly questionable (volunteer battalions have indeed been withdrawn)…
The resolution of this dark Pluto-Black Moon tangle will occur in the period from late September to late November of this year.
But August will become a turning point in society’s reassessment of social priorities—a fated square between Saturn and Jupiter has begun its program of action. And since on August 11 Jupiter will also enter meticulous, critical Virgo, you can be sure of the thoroughness, pragmatism, and practicality of this process… Reality is asserting its rights. Difficult times are ahead for those accustomed to flashy shows and substituting urgent present-day matters with PR campaigns. No salutes, fanfares, parades, awards, flash mobs, mass celebrations or memorials organized by political technologists will have the same influence on civil society… Only real facts and practical actions aimed at restoring social justice will take center stage and gain value…
Pluto’s antisocial alliance with Lilith (Black Moon) is destined to lose in Ukraine since 2012.
