Cheese Pancakes


Thin pancakes with hard cheese — the most delicious and delicate dish. Moreover, it’s a perfect quick snack that any hostess can prepare before guests arrive.

You can fry thin pancakes for several people in literally half an hour. This amount of ingredients for the batter will yield 4–5 servings.

Ingredients:
– milk (2.5% fat) — 1 cup,
– chicken eggs — 1 pc,
– fine salt — ½ tsp,
– white sugar — 1 tsp,
– vegetable oil — 3 tbsp,
– wheat flour (premium) — 4 tbsp,
– hard cheese — 12 small pieces,
– olives and dill — for garnish.

Recipe for cheese pancakes
Break the egg into a bowl and add salt. Add one teaspoon of sugar.

Beat the egg and pour in milk of any fat content.

Add three tablespoons of wheat flour. It’s better to sift it directly into the bowl.

Whisk the pancake batter into a smooth mixture and then pour in the oil. You can use any oil to your taste: regular sunflower or olive oil.

If needed, check the consistency and add another tablespoon of flour, then mix the batter again. With the first option, the pancakes will be very thin; with the second, slightly thicker.

Heat a dry frying pan over medium heat and grease it with oil. This is necessary to prevent the first pancake from burning. Carefully pour the batter into the pan, holding it at an angle. The entire surface of the pan should be covered. Fry slightly on one side, then flip and cook the other side for about forty seconds or one minute. Place the pancakes onto a plate.

Cut the hard cheese into flat squares. It’s better to use slightly salty cheese — the taste will be better.

Place four pieces of cheese on each pancake and carefully fold it into a rectangle. First fold the top, then the sides, and finally the bottom.

Arrange the finished cheese pancakes on a plate and place them in the microwave until the cheese melts.

Slice the olives into rings, wash the dill.

Garnish the dish with olive rings and dill. Serve warm.
