Uranus square: A mediocre talent seeks moments of inspiration, while a great one seeks moments of rest from it. Squares to higher planets produce effects that last for a year, and resisting them is futile—or worse, harmful, as incorrect behavior in the areas governed by the planet in square to a higher one can seriously damage one’s life (and that of others). However, a person chooses how to relate to what happens and how to perceive it—the so-called point of view: both the perspective from which they look and the position from which they observe. This choice largely determines how they process squares to higher planets and, consequently, their fate within the framework of world karma. For example, a Venus–Uranus square not only creates an irresistible inclination toward eccentric and uncontrollable social behavior in the most suitable circumstances but also an inability to love a partner who does not change over time—it becomes unbearably boring. However, in response to this, one can either change partners every month or change their perspective on the same person daily, discovering something fundamentally new in them, though the latter is much harder. In general, a Uranus square grants a genius on the verge of normality (sometimes beyond it), but it is often difficult to constructively realize Uranian ideas and revelations. A person must try to understand the meaning of their eccentricity, learn to read Uranian signs in planetary expressions, and then they may begin to partially see the complex pattern of karma woven around them. Perhaps they will reveal to the world something previously unseen, incomprehensible, and impossible—yet real. The manifestations of a Uranus square cannot be understood—they can only be adapted to and learned to work with. But even with luck and effective application, a person will feel as if they are firing cannons at sparrows, while the worthy Uranian goal remains invisible. A Uranus square provides excellent opportunities to put sticks in the wheels of others, and if a person sets out to obstruct evil and involutionary programs, they can become very inventive in this. Unfortunately, this square is most often used to disrupt the evolutionary flow, creating turbulence—karmic knots—in it. This, of course, manifests the creativity of the Absolute, but the person through whom this creativity is realized becomes a black teacher. However, it matters greatly for an individual’s fate at what level and how this black teaching occurs—whether as a critic, informant, or executioner. Therefore, one should be attentive to the manifestations of a Uranus square, as even minor accents (including one’s inner attitude toward what is happening) can have far-reaching consequences.
Pluto square: Angelic wings grow where the cross of fate has rubbed raw. The influence of a Pluto square manifests as a certain discomfort for the person regarding the sacrifices in the areas governed by the planet that fate will demand—at least, that is how it will seem to them. They must accept that these sacrifices will be demanded at an inopportune moment and will bring unpleasant consequences of seemingly unnecessary and irrelevant quality. Such, unfortunately, is the nature of this karmic program. A Pluto square is the aspect of Job, which, thankfully, does not always go so far. The manifestations of the planetary principle in the external world will sharply dissatisfy the person, provoking a desire to impose order in this regard—something that will require appropriate power. However, the karmic design is precisely the opposite: to bring purity and order to the planetary principle within the person’s inner world and subconscious. To achieve this, they must gain power over their instincts and lower impulses belonging to the planet. Until they realize this, they will repeatedly face difficult sacrifices and a year that pursues them to the same degree that they provoke it—whether consciously or unconsciously, intentionally or unintentionally, from the best or worst motives. An essential point is that in the area governed by the planet, the person acts like a magnifying glass, sharply revealing their own (and others’) smallest imperfections and flaws. This aspect offers great opportunities for inner development and self-purification but also gives the world black teachers of a dictatorial type who destroy the lower and middle manifestations of the planetary principle in the external world with power, fire, and sword, leaving only the most refined (which remain unseen) or, at times, mere ashes. At an average level, the behavior is characterized by rigidity, elements of harsh command, and nihilism toward others, combined with a desire to master the planetary principle oneself. Internally, the person desperately wants to show the world their ideal, but it simply does not work out—or (in their view) the world is not yet mature enough to recognize the perfection placed before it.
