XV. The Devil
Philosophical Vision
The Devil is not an external demon, but an inner tempter.
It reveals where we become slaves to our own desires, fears, and dependencies.
This is the energy of excess, control, attachments—everything we consider “sweet sin.”
But true freedom lies not in renouncing desires, but in realizing who truly governs: you or your temptations.
The Devil does not punish—it exposes the truth about our shadows.
