Leaning on the shovel, Heracles watched as the river did the work, only occasionally lending a hand. By sunset, the stables were clean.
— Do not forget, my king — Heracles said — I have not only cleaned your stables of manure but also of everything old and rotten that had accumulated. I have done more than I promised. Now give me what you owe me.
But the greedy Augeas refused, began to scold, and reneged on his promise to give Heracles the horses. Then Heracles grew angry, entered into battle with Augeas, and killed him in the duel.
One of the main events of early August is the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine regarding the legality of amendments to the Constitution of our state, which, fortunately, has not yet led to anything.
