Chiron opposing the Ascendant creates a duality in physical nature. Here we see sexual perversions: masculine features in women and feminine features in men, attraction to one’s own gender, something ambiguous in physical appearance. Chiron gives a great deal. Any aspect to the Ascendant—even from transiting Chiron—elevates a person to a very high Chironic level. After all, Chiron was the teacher of the gods and a healer. He taught Asclepius, who became the god of medicine.
