Moon – Mars Opposition
(Transit. Moon → Natal Mars)
Various sources for the child’s horoscope
Emotional volatility, excitability, nervousness, the child struggles to control themselves and easily loses their temper. They take everything personally, leading to emotional outbursts. They may be overly independent and intolerant of interference. Frequent conflicts with parents, especially the mother, whom they subject to excessive demands. Impulsive actions and aggressiveness are likely. Possible stomach issues. It is important to help the child develop a cheerful disposition and learn self-control. The child may perceive their mother as a combative woman ready to defend her own rights and beliefs.

Opposition and square are aspects that, in this case, indicate aggressiveness or heightened sensitivity to others’ aggression. The person constantly suspects that someone wants to attack or criticize them. Due to their changeable mood, they either erupt in rage or avoid conflict. They are restless, suspicious, and sometimes capricious. In some cases, their relationship with their mother is simultaneously confrontational and defensive. A man sees constant disagreements in his relationships with women; a woman unconsciously provokes his aggressiveness. These aspects increase the likelihood of physical harm, including surgical interventions.
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Moon opposition: By restraining the aggressiveness of your desires, you contribute to establishing peace on Earth. An opposition of a planet to the Moon gives a person a very biased attitude toward the planetary principle, which they perceive as vitally important, and they experience the planet’s manifestations very emotionally. At a low level, the person constantly tries to take an egocentric stance, internalizing and emphasizing the Moon, as a result of which the planetary principle is externalized, often in the form of another person onto whom all their inner dissatisfaction and disharmony is projected—i.e., the partner is declared responsible for all troubles. For example, if the Moon is opposed to Mercury, a partner who carelessly gives good advice risks facing a hysterical outburst like: “I am so unhappy, and it’s all your fault and your stupid advice and reasoning!”
Unable to maintain an unselfish stance, the person, especially with a challenged chart, may develop nervous and somatic illnesses. They may also project their inner conflicts onto their habits, physical body, homeland, or people, adopting the planetary principle (and the house where the planet is located) as the foundation of their position. For instance, in a Moon–Venus opposition, the stance might be: “Being overweight and overeating is ugly,” and the person goes on a grueling diet, but only until the Moon temporarily relents, then, with satisfaction, they eat a sandwich while watching figure skating on TV. The main issue here is reconciling the planetary principles: the Moon must abandon the idea of consuming the planetary principle entirely (which would destroy it), yet without starving the person (i.e., finding a balanced diet). This work is challenging, requiring self-sacrifice, discipline (Saturn), and inner honesty (Neptune, Pluto), but yields excellent results: the person deeply and confidently masters the planetary principle, which becomes a natural and reliable support for them.
Mars opposition: Having overcome an external enemy, watch as it becomes internal; having subdued the internal one, beware of its externalization. The planetary principle in opposition to Mars constantly experiences forceful influence, and the person finds it difficult to establish harmonious interaction with this force. If the main emphasis is on the planet and the person identifies with its principle, the external environment quickly becomes aggressive and begins to interfere significantly. If they start actively resisting it, they soon get used to the struggle and, forgetting their original goals, re-energize the opposition, causing Mars to become internally accentuated while the planetary principle loses its significance for the person, externalizes, and takes on the role of an enemy—aptly described by the saying, “What you fought for.” For example, in a Mars–Saturn opposition, one cannot fight for discipline; one can only sincerely strive to be disciplined with minimal effort, or such a struggle ends in major troubles, external restrictions (Saturn’s lower octave), and the triumph of inner chaos. The problem often lies in the fact that the person feels strength only in external manifestations of the planetary principle but tends to fight against it; once they conquer and internalize the planet, they lose their strength entirely, and the most painful and incomprehensible moments are those imperceptible turning points of the opposition’s resolution.
Working through this aspect grants stable strength to the planet’s manifestations, including those vibrations it needs, giving the person great self-confidence and the ability to balance even the most acute and tense situations (related to the planetary principle and the houses where the planet and Mars are located, as well as their aspects). At a low level, and especially with Mars afflicted, the opposition can manifest as destructive aggression in both the person and their surroundings. It is important to remember that the instability of the opposition—i.e., the frequent, uncontrolled shift in planetary emphasis—indicates poor processing, while systematic work to track and consciously manage it is the most effective way to achieve stability and harmony with oneself and the world.

Causes fevers—those 3- or 4-day episodes with a sharp spike in temperature. There is no runny nose, no cough, nothing—just a terrible fever, everything aches, everything twists, darkness before the eyes, and ringing in the ears. Inflammatory diseases are worse; they become chronic. Painful ailments and disorders arise from carelessness and lack of foresight. For example, if some enthusiasts drag you into an ice hole, you’ll pay for it dearly. Mars is a masculine planet, and any masculine planet aspecting the Moon has a stronger impact on women.

Extravagance leads to bankruptcy and debt. Carelessness with others’ money and property results in disputes.
