Moon Opposition Jupiter
(Transit: Moon → Natal Jupiter)
Different sources for the child’s horoscope
Your child may have a tendency toward excessive emotions, carelessness, and overgenerosity. This can lead to them being easily misled or making promises they cannot keep. Problems with parents may arise, such as the mother being overly indulgent or overly oppressive. Patience is difficult to cultivate—this is the “I want it now” syndrome. There is a tendency to wander aimlessly. Such a child enjoys eating and often struggles with excess weight. The mother may seem overly caring to the child (“Eat everything, don’t leave anything on the plate!”).

Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Moon opposition: By restraining the aggressiveness of your desires, you help establish peace on Earth. An opposition of a planet to the Moon gives a person a very biased attitude toward the planetary principle, which they experience as vitally important, and at the very least, they perceive the planet’s manifestations very emotionally. At a low level, the person constantly tries to take an egocentric position, meaning they internalize and emphasize the Moon, as a result of which the planetary principle is externalized, often in the form of another person onto whom all their own inner dissatisfaction and disharmony is projected—that is, the partner is declared the culprit of all misfortunes. If the Moon is opposed to Mercury, the partner who carelessly gives good advice risks facing a tantrum like: “I’m so unhappy, and it’s all your fault and your idiotic advice and reasoning!” Unable to take an unselfish position, they are unable to maintain their health, which, with a damaged chart, can lead to nervous and somatic illnesses. habits, physical body, homeland, or people, taking as the basis of their position the planetary principle (and the house where the planet is located); for example, in the case of a Moon opposition to Venus, the position is: being overweight and overeating is unattractive, and the person goes on a grueling diet, but only until the Moon, driven by its desire for slenderness and, with satisfaction, chewing a sandwich with smoked meat, watches figure skating on TV without a second thought. Here, the main problem lies in reconciling the planetary principles: the Moon must abandon the idea of all-consuming consumption of the planetary principle (which would destroy it), but at the same time, it must not starve the person—that is, find a balanced diet. Working through this is difficult, requiring self-sacrifice, discipline (Saturn), and inner honesty (Neptune, Pluto), but it yields excellent results: the person subtly, deeply, and confidently masters the planetary principle, which becomes a natural and reliable support for them. Jupiter opposition: If, by admiring someone else, we identify with them, then by admiring ourselves, we have someone onto whom we can project. A Jupiter opposition gives the planet (and the person in the areas governed by it) a sense of extraordinary importance. Indeed, working through such an opposition grants the planet an exceptionally stable (karmic), privileged position and constantly emerging opportunities to expand its principle, both in the person’s life and in the lives of those connected to them. At a low level, however, there is no constructive interaction between the Jupiterian and planetary principles, and depending on the emphasis on the planets in the opposition, the person falls into one of two positions. Of course, it is more pleasant when the emphasis is on Jupiter, and the person feels like a wealthy potential benefactor in the areas influenced by the planet. However, the planet’s principle is lost in their arrogance, gradually externalizes, and begins to work against the person. For example, a Jupiter opposition to Venus can produce a talented and highly erudite art critic, but at a lower level of working through the aspect, the person will only seem (with complete inner conviction) to excel in art (and love), constantly imposing their opinions and arrogance and thus embarrassing others. (An emphasized Jupiter opposition, for example, its opposition to a stellium, can, alongside great opportunities and abilities and strong patrons, also bring complete blindness to one’s own greatness, insane arrogance, and total lack of self-criticism.) An emphasis on the planet, on the other hand, activates various temptations, but working through the aspect lies in expanding the person’s inner potential. Thus, in the case of a Venus opposition to Jupiter, this alternative with an emphasis on Venus might look like this: either external fame, exhibitions, public and international activities, or a shift in creative direction (mastered style or technique) and the development of something new. A Saturn opposition to Jupiter might, at some point, present the person with a choice: either rigid control over numerous subordinates or the development and mastery of vast areas of inner space. Both may be needed in life, but it is important not to confuse these stages of biography.
