Mars Opposition: Having overcome an external enemy, watch how he becomes internal; having subdued the internal one, track how it externalizes. The principle of the planet in opposition to Mars will constantly experience a strong influence, and it will be quite difficult for a person to establish interaction with this force. If the main emphasis is on the planet, and the person in some way identifies with its principle, the external environment quickly becomes aggressive and begins to interfere with him strongly. If he starts actively fighting it, he quickly gets used to the fight and, forgetting about his original plans, reaccentuates the opposition, as a result of which Mars becomes internally accented, and the principle of the planet loses its significance for the person, transferring to the external world and taking on the role of an enemy, which is described by the well-known aphorism “What you fought for.” For example, in the opposition of Mars to Saturn, one cannot fight for discipline; one can only honestly try to be disciplined with the least effort, otherwise such a struggle ends in big troubles, external restrictions (the lower octave of Saturn) and the triumph of internal chaos. Here, the problem often lies in the fact that a person feels strength only in the external manifestations of the planetary principle but tends to fight it, and having defeated and internalized the planet, he completely loses his strength, moreover, the most painful and incomprehensible are precisely the imperceptible moments of the opposition’s reversal. Processing gives stable strength to the manifestations of the planet, including those vibrations that it needs, which gives a person great self-confidence and the ability to balance the most acute and tense situations (related to the principle of the planet and the houses where it stands and rules, as well as the aspects of these planets). At a low level and especially in the defeat of Mars, its opposition can give destructive aggression both to a person and to the environment; here it should be remembered that the instability of the opposition, i.e., the frequent uncontrolled change of accents of the planets, indicates its poor processing, and, conversely, systematic work on tracking and conscious management is the most effective means of acquiring stability and harmony with oneself and the world.

Chiron Opposition: By going too deep into yourself, you risk coming out from the opposite side. The opposition of Chiron sets two main tasks for the planet: qualitative expansion of its principle and its materialization in those moments that were previously considered subtle, the most subtle, and completely elusive. This forces him to revise his views on the principle of the planet and master it in a much broader version, i.e., to actually move to the next level of processing the planet. If he does not do this, external circumstances are arranged in such a way that the person loses identification with the principle of the planet, the latter is externalized and appears in the external world, beyond the former limits of accessibility (so a pilot becomes an airfield worker), and the main emphasis in the opposition shifts to Chiron, which, having taken root internally, forms stable views and often a sense of an internal dead end, accompanied by despair. Processing here goes through the acceptance and mastery of the planetary principle of Chiron’s paradoxes, while it plays in the external world, which gives the planet (and the person in the spheres of its influence) extraordinary, almost unreal possibilities and talents that will amaze everyone (including the person themselves) with the persuasiveness of their impact. Processed Chiron is a very material thing, and processing its opposition gives an interesting version of the talent for stable, non-trivial vision and creativity in the spheres related to the planet. For example, processing the opposition of Chiron to Pluto (which will cost a lot to the person themselves) gives extraordinary critical abilities; it is very difficult to avoid witty, albeit sharp remarks from this person or to suppress them in the subconscious, they are so accurate, fair, and convincing. For true processing of the opposition to Chiron, in-depth internal work and mastering conscious control of the subconscious programs related to the spheres of influence of the planet are necessary.
