Such a child may be drawn to superheroes (ordinary people who transform into powerful beings). They will strive to resemble such a personality, displaying boldness and self-confidence. Family issues, such as divorce or the loss of a parent, can amplify the feeling of being deprived of personal power and will. The child must learn that there are right and wrong ways to use personal power. Otherwise, they may resort to using personal power in fights and arguments to feel worthy of their own strength. Parents and teachers should allow such children to recognize their own worth without acting in a presumptuous or cruel manner toward themselves or others. Opposition, square: anxiety, self-destruction, a sense of guilt, often linked to rejecting the parental model. This manifests either as exaggerated friendliness meant to deceive others, hiding the wolf in sheep’s clothing, or as a tendency to overthrow others’ systems. As always with Pluto aspects, much of this may be deeply repressed into the unconscious.

Sun opposition: Before fulfilling an intention, one must understand to what extent it truly belongs to them. An opposition between the Sun and a planet highlights the issue of that planet’s relationship with the individual’s will and the imperative circumstances shaping their path. The mere presence of a major aspect between the Sun and a planet means that its principle will never manifest independently of the person’s will or the defining circumstances of their behavior; the opposition additionally indicates a known opposition between these principles, often accompanied by the externalization of one of them. At a low level, this provokes conflict when the person forcibly resists a particular external manifestation of the planet’s principle or, conversely, when external conditions suppress the internal manifestations of the planetary principle with which they identify. For example, with a Sun–Mars opposition, a person will experience various conflicts and battles with the outside world (or, at a higher level, with themselves), but upon closer inspection, these conflicts fall into two types: in the first, the person emphasizes and internalizes the Sun’s principle, opposing their will and composure to their own external self and initiative; in the second, they adopt an aggressive Martian stance and actively fight against an imperative hostile will, effectively submitting to its initiative—meaning they have no will of their own. With a Sun–Moon opposition, a person constantly battles themselves, and the people they occasionally clash with are merely substitutes embodying their will and ego, which this aspect forces them to learn to cooperate with and understand, as emphasizing the Moon (i.e., adopting the ego’s position) immediately threatens to destroy their “home”—depriving them of family and sustenance (or so it seems to them)—while adopting the Sun’s position (i.e., asserting their will and initiative) leads them to act in ways that painfully suppress their vital interests (a phenomenon they cannot explain). Working through this aspect grants extraordinary resilience in life—for example, a woman who can heal her husband of alcoholism or mental illness and then raise wonderful children with him. Pluto opposition: Good struggles against evil are blurred. In general, a major Pluto aspect karmically aligns the planet with a program of purification, often involving painful but ultimately irreversible losses. At a low level, the opposition pits the planet’s principle against Pluto’s purifying actions; the person perceives these as destructive aggression aimed at them (in the areas governed by the planet) and tries to resist. In this case, they clearly emphasize the planet, and Pluto appears to them as an external force delivering (understandably) undeserved blows to an innocent person, always striking the same spot (the planet’s principle or the house where it resides). The person may complain (quietly), protest (loudly), or fight (desperately), but it is better for them to accept and, above all, understand that Pluto is not aiming to destroy the planet’s principle itself (with a Pluto–Moon opposition, the person may feel that fate wants to destroy them along with their family, for no apparent reason). Sometimes (usually unnoticed by the person), the chart shifts the emphasis in the opposition, placing it on Pluto, so the person becomes a conduit for the Absolute’s (fate’s) purifying will and does to the planet’s principle in the external world what fate recently did to them. Often, the manifestation of the external planet occurs through certain individuals who fall under the fatal influence of the person, who may not even suspect it (though such suspicions arise over time). Strong black teachers with a Pluto opposition may long maintain the emphasis on Pluto, brutally suppressing and destroying the planet’s principle in their students, but Pluto’s blow eventually catches up with them as well. Here, the work involves, first and foremost, cultivating humility and eradicating the primitive thirst for absolute control over the manifestations of the planet’s principle in the surrounding world, as well as the desire to reshape others, ruthlessly eliminating everything deemed vile and unworthy (for example, a Pluto–Venus opposition fosters a desire for power over people’s minds and movements, but not the higher octave of the 9th house’s power—rather, “so they dare not speak or even think what does not belong to me!”). The person must understand that their planet’s principle can only be constructively expressed in external life after undergoing thorough Plutonian purification within themselves, for which they will have to make significant external and internal sacrifices. At a high level, the person gains the opportunity for the highest development of the planet’s principle and participation in grand karmic programs.

This is a very severe case. The essence and sexual energy do not align, leaving the person devoid of developmental potential. Either it manifests as hypersexuality used on a purely animalistic level, at the level of the sympathetic or even parasympathetic nervous system, or as hyposexuality. A square aspect indicates a rapist or a maniac. Whether they act on these impulses depends on other aspects. A crime boss, a gang leader, a secret police officer.

They should avoid involvement in wars, political and social revolutions—it is dangerous for them.

These are aspects of self-assertion, a struggle for popularity, power, and success; they bring authoritarianism, a desire to command, conflicts with others, intolerance, recklessness, impatience, and a tendency toward accidents, risks of surgical operations, and inflammatory diseases. The positive side is that the struggle for recognition can serve as a stimulus for self-improvement; these aspects can provide the ability to achieve set goals and the skill to win.
