In general, a major aspect of Venus raises the issue of love, and in the areas governed by the planet in opposition to Venus, the person at some point faces the urgent question: do they want to love or to be loved? Working through this aspect leads to a stable fusion of the planetary principle with the Venusian one: all manifestations of the planet become perfect in form and filled with love for people; in the areas governed by the planet, the person gains a profound understanding of others and the ability to influence large-scale social programs.

The opposition of Uranus presents the planet with the difficult task of reconciling with the principles of the extraordinary, the sudden, brilliant insight, and powerful energy. Therefore, it is natural for the person to try to identify with the planetary principle, as a result of which Uranian manifestations often occur externally in the form of unexpected external events and effects (not always friendly) in the areas related to the planet. These should be interpreted not only in their direct sense but also as karmic signs. Sometimes (a strong experience for an average person), the emphasis in the opposition does shift, and for a time, the main focus is on Uranus. During this period, the most unusual things and events may happen to the person (or come from them), their view of the world and themselves may shift dramatically, and they may experience revelations and penetrate the depths of the subconscious. However, sustaining Uranian energy (and its mental impulses) for long is difficult, and temporary madness either ends on its own with a shift back in emphasis to the planets in opposition or continues under the supervision of psychiatrists who balance the Uranus opposition with psychotropic drugs—a crude and far from the only method, though activating which may help relieve excess tension. The Uranus opposition gives the planet brilliant ideas that initially seem completely incompatible not only with its own principle but also with the current circumstances of its expression in the person’s life. In an unworked-out state, the person either fully submits to these ideas (risking their life, psyche, and career) or completely ignores them (especially if it is afflicted). Working through this aspect involves adapting these ideas to the planetary principle, which grants it brilliance, originality, and power.
