Semi-Sextile Mars – Pluto

Semi-Sextile Mars: Which planet symbolizes aggression in Martian astrology? This aspect requires, for its realization, a partial transition to cosmic vibrations of the individual’s personal energy, which primarily means the subtlety of active actions that appears to contradict the crudeness of earthly reality and, at a low level of processing, brings the person a multitude of troubles—not only of a metaphysical nature: resistance to evil is unethical according to cosmic laws. However, in the spheres of the Planet, the person will actually encounter not so much external evil as internal evil, moreover, socially induced, since here the person is initially tuned to cosmic energy, incomprehensible and often unacceptable to the collective subconscious. Processing occurs through mastering, comprehending, and internally accepting the cosmic vibrations and cosmic ethics of active actions available to the person, which gradually proves to be a more effective protection against the aggression of the external world than initially expected. However, here, especially in the case of Mars’ affliction, it is more difficult to rid oneself of internal aggression toward the world and oneself, both overt and repressed, since the semi-sextile demands sterility and purity in this regard; initially, it is present, but gradually disappears, creating a feeling of internal disharmony and rigidity that the person does not fully understand, which is connected to the fact that in this case, they are judged not by humanity but by the Cosmos.
Semi-Sextile Pluto: From a cosmic perspective, it is not the underworld that threatens the Earth, but the garbage dump. This aspect brings cleansing in the spheres of the Planet, carried out from the standpoint of cosmic ethics. This cleansing will occur both within the person themselves and in their environment, and ideally should proceed harmoniously, but according to cosmic ideas of earthly beauty, which may diverge from the person’s own opinion. Usually, this aspect brings minor troubles that replace major ones, and if the person recognizes this, they will consider the aspect highly beneficial, especially if they find the strength to accept inevitable losses—most often minor but, from an earthly point of view, possibly irrational and incomprehensible. In principle, this aspect holds great scientific interest, as here the person encounters a cosmic version of the year, moreover, in its most harmonious form, so that, remaining relatively safe, one can comprehend cosmic ethics in the spheres of the Planet, at least to learn what the Cosmos considers unacceptable and subject to destruction. An affliction to the semi-sextile can produce a sharply negative attitude toward the spheres of the Planet, which should not (though the temptation exists) be taken as cosmic truth: here, earthly disharmony combines with a cosmic critical perspective, and constructive processing and criticism of the spheres of the Planet can yield very high results and strong evolution of the external world.
