Neptune semi-sextile: From the Earth’s rotation I feel dizzy. This is an aspect of high mystics and great spiritual teachers who guide humanity’s evolution according to cosmic karma. Sometimes such teachers carry out these programs while residing in isolated monasteries and ashrams in relatively pure places on Earth, for example high in mountains, while at other times they incarnate in “civilized” countries and even large cities; in the latter case, their rational consciousness and perception are artificially narrowed, and they fulfill high cosmic programs without being fully aware of it, simply through the course of their lives, which are predominantly shaped by major aspects in the horoscope. Sometimes rational consciousness shuts down, and the person experiences visions of cosmic plans and currents which they barely understand, yet such elevated meditations play a significant, albeit unclear, role in their inner life. At a lower level, this aspect causes periodic distortions in earthly perception, which do not bring the person particular difficulties—until they begin insisting on them, trying to analyze them rationally or use them for selfish purposes, for example, to satisfy lower desires. For the profanation of high and harmonious cosmic currents through the semi-sextile, the person is accountable before a corresponding extraterrestrial egregore whose ethics may greatly differ from earthly standards, and the most common abuses here are drug addiction or hospitalization in a psychiatric clinic with a diagnosis of “schizophrenia,” which often precisely indicates this (not necessarily Neptune). Cosmic currents, even harmonious ones, are extremely intense for humans, but just as Earth’s aura and atmosphere protect humanity from cosmic radiation in the physical sense, they also provide protection here; however, in the spheres of the semi-sextile, a breach occurs—usually minor, yet often with far-reaching consequences. Pluto semi-sextile: From a cosmic perspective, Earth is threatened not by monsters, but by garbage. This aspect brings purification in the planet’s spheres, conducted according to cosmic ethics. This cleansing occurs both within the individual and in their environment, and ideally proceeds harmoniously, though according to cosmic notions of earthly beauty, which may differ from the person’s own views. Typically, this aspect brings minor discomforts that arrive instead of major ones, and if the person recognizes this, they will regard the aspect as highly beneficial—especially if they find the strength to accept inevitable losses, usually insignificant, yet from an earthly standpoint possibly unmotivated and incomprehensible. In principle, this aspect holds great scientific interest, as here the individual confronts a cosmic variant of fate, and in its most harmonious form; thus, while remaining in relative safety, one can comprehend cosmic ethics within the planet’s spheres, or at least learn what the Cosmos considers unacceptable and subject to elimination. Failure to integrate the semi-sextile may produce sharply negative attitudes toward the planet’s spheres, which should not be accepted (though such temptation is possible) as cosmic truth: here earthly disharmony combines with a cosmic critical perspective, and constructive processing and critique of the planet’s spheres can yield very high results and strongly influence evolution of the external world.
