Semi-Sextile Venus: Contacts between humans and extraterrestrials will begin when the Ministry of Culture takes responsibility for them. This aspect gives (especially in the areas of the planet) a cosmic accent to the perception of harmony; as the aspect develops, it may manifest in an artist, poet, or musician whose aesthetics are governed by laws previously unknown to Earth. At a low level, especially with Venus in detriment, there may be a denial of conventional standards of beauty, which will seem mundane and dull to the individual, drawing them to patterns of the starry sky and the shimmer of the aurora. In social perception and ethics within the areas of the planet, this person may face difficulties due to their duality—cosmic and earthly—where ordinary earthly perceptions and ethics can suddenly shift into something incomprehensible: obvious tragedies may appear as farce, while insignificant things take on unnatural significance. For example, to work through the semi-sextile Sun–Venus, one must understand and internalize cosmic courtesy in their initiatives and expressions when communicating with others, even those who may not seem deserving of even basic earthly courtesy. Until this is achieved, the individual may be plagued by a sense of guilt toward them and others, as their behavior disrupts harmony in the Cosmos—and, of course, within their own soul.
Semi-Sextile Pluto: From a cosmic perspective, Earth is not threatened by the underworld, but by the garbage dump. This aspect brings a cleansing in the areas of the planet, conducted from the standpoint of cosmic ethics. This purification occurs both within the individual and their environment, ideally harmoniously, but according to cosmic ideas of earthly beauty, which may conflict with the person’s own views. Typically, this aspect brings minor inconveniences that replace major ones, and if the individual recognizes this, they will see the aspect as highly beneficial—especially if they find the strength to accept inevitable, often minor, losses that may seem groundless or incomprehensible from an earthly perspective. In principle, this aspect holds great scientific interest, as it allows the individual to encounter a cosmic version of the year, in its most harmonious form. While remaining relatively safe, one can explore cosmic ethics in the areas of the planet, at least learning what the Cosmos deems unacceptable and subject to destruction. A debilitated semi-sextile may result in a sharply negative attitude toward the areas of Pluto, which should not (though the temptation exists) be mistaken for cosmic truth: here, earthly disharmony combines with a cosmic critical perspective. Constructive processing and critique of these areas can yield exceptionally high results and strong evolution of the external world.
