Semi-Sextile Venus: Contacts with extraterrestrials will begin when the Ministry of Culture takes responsibility for them. This aspect gives (especially in the planet’s spheres) a cosmic accent to the sense of harmony; with the aspect’s development, this may manifest as an artist, poet, or musician whose aesthetics are governed by previously unknown laws of Earth. On a low level, especially with Venus afflicted, there may be a denial of conventional norms of beauty, which the person will find dull and mundane, instead embracing patterns of the starry sky and the shimmer of the aurora. In social perception and ethics within the planet’s spheres, this person will face difficulties due to their dual cosmic-Earth polarity in these matters: ordinary Earthly perception and ethics may suddenly shift into something incomprehensible, where an obvious tragedy is seen as a farce, and trivial things take on an unnatural significance. For example, to work through the semi-sextile Sun–Venus, one must understand and internalize cosmic courtesy in their initiatives and volitional expressions in communication with others—even those who, at first glance, do not deserve even ordinary Earthly courtesy. Until a person does this, they may be tormented by a sense of guilt toward them and others, as their behavior disrupts harmony in the Cosmos—and, of course, within their own soul.

Semi-Sextile Uranus: The Apocalypse is not quite the right term. Cosmic. This is a difficult aspect to work through (here, Uranus is decadent), but most often it manifests in minor, fleeting flashes of cosmic enlightenment that the person pays no attention to. A strong activation of Uranus can trigger this semi-sextile, and the person may then fall under the strong influence of a cosmic egregore, having been, as a rule, unprepared. If the semi-sextile connects Uranus with a 4th-level planet, it signifies a sudden activation of cosmic karma, and the person is swept into a current over which they have no control and usually do not understand what is happening—here, only humility and a higher spiritual orientation can help. If, however, the active semi-sextile involves Uranus with a lower planet, one may attempt to rise to the level of cosmic perception of what is happening in its spheres, and then the signs of fate may speak—not entirely in human language, but in a way comprehensible to the person. In this case, a Uranian crisis can be overcome and sometimes even deciphered and practically realized in the form of Uranian revelations. Fortunately, they rarely take the form of direct blows of fate, but with a strong affliction of Uranus, a brief yet complete departure from Earthly perception may occur, which externally resembles madness.
