Semi-Sextile of Jupiter: A priori categories are given to a person as a reminder of their cosmic origin. At a high level of processing, this aspect provides distant access to extraterrestrial karmic programs, which, after overcoming the geocentric internal position, leads to breakthroughs in understanding the nature of things and creation, and weaving threads of cosmic harmony into earthly karma. Depending on the nature of the planet forming the semi-sextile to Jupiter and its position in the horoscope, this may manifest in philosophers or writers (Mercury), artists (Venus), mystics (Neptune), scientists (Uranus), etc. In any case, such a person will reveal to others something previously unseen, and, trusting their vision, will cautiously adapt and carefully, without destroying the improbable beauty, strive to comprehend it, absorbing it within themselves and trying to hear the faintest echo of universal harmony in their depths. At a low level, this aspect may lead to contempt for all earthly matters, but cosmic plans will initially be felt very weakly by the person, so the aspect will mainly manifest as a broad, superficial interest in cosmic aspects of the planet’s spheres and attempts at minor philosophy, though possibly with greater pretensions to significance. In a harmonious variant, there may be sources of cosmic grace, but at a level so subtle that a limited person is unlikely to notice it.

Sometimes rational consciousness shuts down, and the person experiences visions of cosmic plans and flows that they barely understand, yet such elevated meditations play a significant, though unclear, role in their inner life. At a low level, this aspect gives rise to periodic distortions of earthly perception, which do not cause the person much trouble until they insist on rationalizing them or attempt to use them for selfish purposes, such as satisfying lower-order desires. For profaning high and harmonious cosmic flows of the semi-sextile, a person is held accountable before the corresponding extraterrestrial egregore, whose ethics may diverge sharply from earthly ethics, and the most common abuses here are drug addiction or hospitalization in a psychiatric ward with a diagnosis of “schizophrenia,” which often precisely indicates (not necessarily of Neptune). Cosmic flows, even harmonious ones, are very harsh for a person, but just as the Earth’s aura and atmosphere protect a person from cosmic radiation in the physical sense, in the spheres of the semi-sextile, a breakthrough occurs—usually minor but often with far-reaching consequences.
