Semi-Sextile Jupiter – Saturn
(Transit Jupiter → Natal Saturn)
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Semi-Sextile Jupiter: A priori categories are given to a person as reminders of their cosmic origin. At a high level of processing, this aspect provides distant access to extraterrestrial karmic programs, which, after overcoming the geocentric internal position, means breakthroughs in understanding the nature of things and creation, and weaving threads of cosmic harmony into earthly karma. Depending on the nature of the planet forming the semi-sextile to Jupiter and its position in the horoscope, this could be philosophers or writers (Mercury), artists (Venus), mystics (Neptune), scientists (Uranus), etc. In any case, this person will reveal to others something previously unseen, and, believing their eyes, will cautiously adapt and carefully, so as not to destroy the improbable beauty, strive to comprehend it, absorbing it within themselves and trying to hear in the depths the subtlest echo of participation in world harmony. At a low level, this aspect can lead to contempt for everything earthly, but cosmic plans will initially be felt by the person very weakly, so the aspect will mainly manifest as a broad, superficial interest in cosmic aspects of the planet’s spheres and attempts at minor philosophy, though perhaps with greater pretensions to significance. In the harmonious variant, there may be sources of cosmic grace, but at such a level that a limited person is unlikely to notice it.
Semi-Sextile Saturn: There are spots on the sun of the inner sky. This aspect signifies great responsibility before cosmic karma in the spheres of the planet, the possibility of its deep understanding, and, when processed, promises otherworldly wisdom and perfection. At a low level, a person will limit themselves to claims about the low quality of what happens in the external world in the spheres of the planet, not understanding, first, that their demands are often poorly understood by others, who usually stand entirely on earthly positions, and, second, that karma in this case primarily implies internal work toward ever deeper meaning in cosmic (not just earthly) evolution. Until a person reaches this level of understanding, the spheres of the planet will attract them, and they will understand them, perhaps more deeply than others, but still, for reasons unclear to themselves, their level will not satisfy them. In case of Saturn’s affliction in connection with this, complexes and phobias may arise, along with genuine bewilderment toward the environment, the inner world, or God: “What else do you want from me?!” Indeed, the demands—or rather, expectations (after all, a semi-sextile is a harmonious aspect)—of worldly karma in this case are great, and superficial or short-lived efforts will not suffice. In the harmonious variant, this aspect provides relatively deep penetration and original vision in the spheres of the planet in the natural course of life, not immediately but also without special effort, and although this is insufficient, harmonious aspects can camouflage the subtle dissatisfaction of the cosmic egregore and, accordingly, a slight discomfort in the inner world, which intensifies when the inner world is affected.
