The way a person vacuums can reveal a lot about their character. For instance, what kind of lover they might be. And if you want to find out in advance, watch how your potential partner cleans the apartment.
Conducting research commissioned by vacuum cleaner manufacturers, American psychologist Donna Dawson identified five personality types distinguished by their approaches to cleaning and sex. “Any actions during which a person chooses how to perform a task—whether to do it this way or that—can reveal deep aspects of your personality or your partner’s,” explains Donna. “And this statement also holds true for the process of cleaning an apartment.”
Meteor
He prefers to vacuum as quickly as possible, usually ignoring the details. This person talks a lot and fast, is impatient, irritable, and ambitious. He is unlikely to engage in sex for long because it will quickly bore him.
Pedant
He never tries to shorten the time required for cleaning. Throughout his life, he vacuums according to a single, long-established scheme. Such people are generally cautious in their actions and prefer reliable, proven methods for solving problems. During sex, they are unlikely to rush, but neither will they experiment much.
Dependent
He picks up the vacuum cleaner hoping to relieve stress. This person is hardworking, affectionate, and during sex enjoys pleasing their partner.
Sailor
This type doesn’t notice the dirt left behind after cleaning. Typically, these are self-absorbed dreamers. To their sexual partners, they may seem too cold and distant.
Protester
Uses the vacuum cleaner as a way to express dissatisfaction. While cleaning, he smashes everything around, hitting the vacuum against all furniture corners. When it comes to sex, such a person is selfish and prefers that their partner do most of the work.
About sex over a drink
Meanwhile, Italian winemaker Franco Deusiario suggests determining a person’s sexuality through wine preferences. Franco has created three types of wine: Is – masculine red, Ea – feminine white, Id – pink. The latter is intended for people who have not yet defined their gender identity. Each bottle comes with a specially developed psychological text about sexual behavior. According to the winemaker-philosopher, by answering questions over a glass of chosen aromatic wine, a person can better “know themselves and uncover their true individuality in sex.”
