A Mercury trine grants excellent mental abilities and agility, as well as luck in transactions in the areas governed by the planet, provided the person puts in minimal effort. For example, a Mercury–Mars trine grants force of speech and thought, ease of reasoning, and the ability to complete complex mental work in seconds (and sell it profitably), but to an observer, all of this seems too easy.
