Neptune trine: Understanding others begins with understanding their mistakes. This is an aspect of happiness, insight, subtle deception, and self-deception that karmically leads to far less pleasant consequences—yet under the guidance of planets more certain than Neptune. Here, interpretation largely depends on the level of Neptune’s principles, particularly the degree of inner honesty, especially regarding the planet involved, as well as a person’s natural level of meditation. Generally speaking, the Neptune trine promises excellent intuitive understanding of the planet’s principle and enjoyment simply from its activation (which a person can, if desired, teach others). In practice, however, at a low level, this turns into a persistent illusion of understanding rather than true comprehension, and the enjoyment stems from a lower octave of the planet’s principle. For example, Neptune trine Mars may produce a passionate love for lowbrow action films where blood flows in torrents before the viewer’s eyes (while the person may remain quite meek in their personal life). The Neptune trine grants exceptional abilities and opportunities to work with the planet’s principle but simultaneously hinders this process, as it creates the illusion that the person has long since fully understood and mastered it. Above all, there is an inner sense of possessing the essence of the planet’s principle, when in reality, no true mastery exists. If a person does not pursue sober and honest mastery of the planet’s principle—understanding its true level and role in their life—and instead prefers to deceive themselves and others (for which they will always have brilliant abilities), their innate talents will gradually decline alongside their level of meditation and inner honesty, leading to alcoholism, drug use, and personality disintegration. Such a person must seek high spiritual guidance in the areas governed by the planet and, as a precaution, work with Pluto. At a high level, this aspect promises spiritual revelations, a steady flow of harmony, grace, and Divine love that can be felt in any expression of the planet’s principle.

Pluto trine: “Taming the bulls, drifting gloomily toward sanctity.” The Pluto trine grants the planet’s principle a year of protection—meaning that only the hardships destined for the person will occur, and no others will threaten them. Moreover, Pluto prepares them for these trials in advance. If the person quickly understands this and cultivates humility in the face of minor yet irreversible losses fate sends their way, they will avoid major sacrifices and losses (within the scope of this aspect, of course). Thus, the Pluto trine symbolizes harmonious and relatively painless purification that affects not only the individual but also their environment, especially those who activate the person’s planetary principle. Here lies a potential pitfall: instead of humbly accepting fate’s trials and subduing the ego’s grumbling, the person may complain and force irreversible losses upon others, thereby becoming a conduit of Plutonian influence and a dark teacher for them. They may do this with precision and care, even almost painlessly, but such substitution leaves them unprepared for the inevitable and swift arrival of strong Plutonian influence, which will demand all the sacrifices they avoided in a past life—and possibly even more. The Pluto trine demands minor but constant sacrifices from the planet’s principle, the purpose of which is to transition from a lower octave of the planet to a higher one. The harmony of this transition depends partly on the person, but the fact of Pluto’s influence on the planet and its purification through this process is inevitable. Working with this aspect allows the person to reach a fundamentally new level in its spheres, participate in grand, powerful, and harmonious programs related to purification and elevation of their principle in the world or their country. Without this work, the person loses individual freedom in the areas governed by the planet and may become a docile puppet of lower (destructive) Plutonian programs.
