Sun trine: Feeling supported by fate, consider what exactly it is supporting. This is a very strong aspect. Karma seems to determine that the planetary principle lives well, harmoniously, and happily—at least that is how it appears to a person at a low level of processing the planet and its trine to the Sun. In reality, karma provides the planetary principle with a victorious path on the condition of its development; moreover, human will, when directed toward the planetary principle, easily receives a constructive direction—if the person so desires. If, however, a person wants to use the principle of the planet, their will will again meet no resistance. Therefore, one should not think that a Sun trine means the prosperity of the planetary principle; with equal success, it can mean its decay (but still under a beautiful facade) if human will is directed toward predatory consumption and irrational use. In this sense, the Sun trine—Moon is particularly dangerous, especially with a strong Sun, as it allows for too easy use of health for the sake of human will, which in practice most often means the will of a rigid egregore. In general, the interpretation of a trine in general and the Sun trine in particular now depends on the level of its processing. At a low level, with an egoistic direction of will, a person will soon encounter the unpleasant effect that external imperative circumstances only superficially seem to favor the planetary principle, while internally, that is, essentially, they do not develop but gradually stagnate, and the person becomes hopeless. Conversely, active processing of the planetary principle and its development will find great support from karma, which will seem entirely natural to the person but will be the result of their volitional efforts supported by the planet’s trine. Here, it is very important not to stop, as the creative-supportive influence of the trine ends immediately when the person’s constructive volitional effort weakens, turning into predatory—that is, forcibly extracting harmony from the environment and giving it to the person in an uninteresting form. In the areas governed by the planet, it is dangerous to fight with this person: the force that supports harmony around them will not stand on ceremony with you. When interpreting this trine, it is also important to pay attention to the relative strength of the Sun and the planet, but here one should be guided not only by the horoscope but also by the specific circumstances of the person’s life. In any case, the person will sincerely believe that their will and initiative in the area of the planetary principle are perfect, and it is practically impossible to convince them otherwise. Saturn trine: Evolution is universal. A Saturn trine gives the person natural discipline, concentration, and diligence in the areas related to the planet, as well as the ability and opportunity to shift their burden onto others. On the other hand, even a Saturn trine gives the planetary principle some restraint, coldness, and rigidity, which are overcome through focused internal processing of the planet’s principle. Here, as is typical of a trine, laziness is an obstacle, though it is not obvious since Saturn itself demands focus and work. However (in the area governed by the planet), the person tends to work diligently only as much as circumstances demand and not a second longer. And circumstances (regarding the areas governed by the planet) never force them to concentrate or delve too deeply or intensely into the subject, and although the person may appear to be a hero of selfless labor from the outside, their inner concentration and effort tend to be clearly insufficient. A person with a Saturn–Sun trine finds it strange to watch people who cannot gather themselves and do what is objectively necessary, and the complaints of a person with an unaspected Saturn about their inability to concentrate and discipline themselves in the most urgent circumstances are completely incomprehensible to them. Processing the aspect leads to serious development of the planetary principle, primarily within the person—that is, deep and thorough elaboration of the corresponding subconscious programs, promising creative achievements and deep individual self-expression. At a low level, superficial efforts and focus on the planetary principle are mistaken for depth, which can lead to professional disappointments: the person shows great promise but soon falters. A brilliant physics student becomes a mediocre software engineer (an unprocessed Saturn–Uranus trine).
