Venus trine Mars
(Transit Venus → Natal Mars)
Various sources for the child’s horoscope
Your child is charming and energetic. Sociable, lively, cheerful, they are full of love for people. Their emotions are warm and strong, but sometimes they can be insistent in their expression. There is a strong need for freedom, and occasionally they need to be alone. They may find self-expression through creativity and art. Playing musical instruments, performing on stage, sports dances, or any form of gymnastics will give their creative energy direction and purpose.

Catherine Aubier. Astrological Dictionary
A trine or sextile: a fusion of the emotional and the sensual. Love captivates the person entirely; their feelings are open and sincere in expression, and they do not absolutize the sensual side of life. Their desires are natural and straightforward, their sexual behavior free from perversions or excessive vanity. Relationships with the opposite sex are harmonious and unburdened by difficulties.
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
A Venus trine: Love is such a wonderful thing that it is absolutely incomprehensible how it could cause any trouble. A Venus trine brings social protection and good fortune in areas governed by the planet, quick and easy recognition that the person takes for granted and inwardly values little, at least if there are other avenues for self-affirmation in life. A Venus trine gives the planet’s principle a natural taste and a good perception of reality—often too harmonious: all ugliness becomes unnoticeable or greatly smoothed over, and a desperate cry for help may sound to the person like a weak and unnecessary request. This aspect (even a Venus–Pluto trine) makes love a natural state for the person in areas governed by the planet, but at a low level, they tend to extract this love from the surrounding space (and people), using it for personal gain, even though externally everything may appear quite decent, natural, and even oddly thoughtless, as if the person themselves were merely a lotus flower adorning the world simply because they exist and cannot do otherwise. For example, a Venus trine to Pluto at a low level of processing brings an abundance of fatal infatuations into the person’s life, from which they usually emerge unscathed, with a decent bouquet (albeit quickly wilting) of flowers of pleasure, while the victims (and, of course, their own lower passions) gladly and willingly become the objects of their affection and are just as gladly and willingly abandoned by them. Processing grants excellent insight into the flaws and vices of the beloved (and, of course, oneself), which the person can pinpoint and almost painlessly help overcome—this, in essence, is the karmic program of this aspect. Admittedly, few partners can endure such a program for long, but in the short term, it can prove highly constructive. The person themselves, however, will struggle to expect satisfactory emotional relationships in love, and if they also have, for example, a Uranus square or a Saturn opposition, they should not count on a conventionally happy marriage. At a low level, a Venus trine brings social (and romantic) relaxation, laziness, and parasitism, often manifesting as total ingratitude toward people and life for everything they do for the person—something that usually goes unnoticed by others but in pronounced cases is experienced as a painful blow. A Mars trine: By expending their own energy moderately, the person shifts an inordinate burden onto the shoulders of those around them. This is a dangerous aspect, as it allows the energy inherent in the planet’s principle to flow freely, but its strength may be profaned and directed toward outright evil. The person will have an illusion of the planet’s strength, but without processing, it will reveal itself as the strength of its lower octave, which will attract the close attention of the ego and involutionary karmic programs (i.e., those carrying chaos, destruction, and profanation), and they will attempt to make the person their conduit. At a low level, this aspect, along with the sense of the planet’s principle’s strength, also brings laziness that the person cannot overcome on their own, especially since they feel that others are willingly working in their place. Significant life obstacles (especially those arising from tense aspects of the planet) should be seen as a positive development, as they force the person to activate the planet’s principle, which often makes them aware of it, compelling their muscles to contract and their stagnant blood (and the dust of the lower astral) to circulate. Most likely, the work will be completed quickly and efficiently, as a Mars trine provides intuition that allows the planet’s principle to be realized with minimal effort, after which the person can rest well, gradually losing the strength they regained during the work. At a high level of processing, Mars gives the planet’s principle high-vibration energy, helping it manifest in its higher octave, and as a result, the world receives a powerful energy channel instead of an energetic black hole (characteristic of the lower octave of the aspect, where the person forces world harmony and specific people to work for their ego). If, however, the person has a very harmonious Mars, without processing, they will eventually fall into a specific slavery to a rigid egregore that provides them with strength only by sending them on its very specific errands (most often actively supporting chaos, but it could be much worse—active involutionary programs). This manifests as inexplicable, all-consuming laziness that arises, indifference, and apathy. Once the egregore has exhausted the person’s external energy, it turns to their internal energy, as a result of which melancholy can escalate into serious somatic illnesses.
