The Life and Death of Alexander McQueen

He was called a “bad boy” for dropping his pants at fashion shows, for telling his family about his non-traditional orientation at 17, or for throwing out something else “like that” – Jupiter in conjunction with Uranus in Libra – an echo of the hippies and the struggle against the law, a refusal to create anything but masterpieces from the 23rd century.

Tabloids reported the death of the famous British fashion designer, Alexander McQueen.

The death occurred on the eve of the New Moon – the Moon was passing through Capricorn and creating a tense aspect to Mars in Leo. The Moon is always responsible for the subconscious, emotions, irrational acts, and passing through Capricorn, it often creates an aura of intense oppression and depression. The Moon plays an almost decisive role in events, especially when it comes to personal choices.

Suicide is a decision that often comes spontaneously. If there is someone nearby who can prevent it, the intention to kill oneself will disappear in 5 minutes. Unfortunately, there was no such person next to Alexander on February 11, 2010. Psychologists have a concept – “midlife crisis,” which astrologers mark with the opposition of transiting Uranus to the natal Uranus. Uranus is one of the pathological planets and brings madness, crisis, convulsions, and psychological breakdowns, while on the physiological level it is often responsible for strokes, cancer, and death by electric shock, lightning, or accidents. Since Uranus moves slowly, the opposition can be relevant for up to six months. Against the backdrop of this opposition, Alexander experienced the loss of his mother – only 9 days from the death of his mother to the death of her son. Death not only frightens but also lures with its hypnotism, its undeniable evidence… think about it – 9 days – this is the term when the departed person should be remembered, as well as on the 40th day and the anniversary. These terms are sacred and related to the transition of the soul to different levels in the afterlife. ON THESE DAYS, THE SOUL OF THE DECEASED VISITS RELATIVES AND FRIENDS…

If we consider Alexander’s birth chart (McQueen was born on March 17, 1969, in London), then it was in such a negative position that the natal and transiting Uranus were in his chart. Does such an opposition affect everyone? No, but the famous fashion designer’s birth chart is distinguished by the fact that it contains a large number of negative aspects and strong “jubilee” degrees – such a chart reflects an eternal revolutionary, a person with an unstable, vulnerable psyche, a person with a huge amplitude of energy splitting.

In addition, he was born on the New Moon, when the Sun and Moon are in the same sign, which was Pisces for Alexander. Uranus has been raging in this sign since 2003, breaking the stereotypes of thinking for some, putting others on the operating table, but one way or another, Uranus brings changes to everyone born under the sign of Pisces. For Alexander, these years were victorious and loss-making. His entire Spring/Summer 2008 collection was dedicated to Isabella Blow, who committed suicide in 2007.

The North Node (life’s program) connecting with the Sun – brightness, and Chiron – paradox, is striking in the birth chart, and is in opposition to the conjunction of Uranus + Jupiter + South Node. Usually, when the Nodes are conjunct planets, it indicates a strong personality, although not necessarily a bright one. British Prime Minister Churchill (who suffered from alcoholism) had planets conjunct the Nodes. The most malefic planet in the horoscope – Black Moon Lilith creates tense aspects to the Nodes and the planets that are conjunct the Nodes. The apex of such a T-square is very strong (it and the Nodes are in jubilee degrees – degrees of fame and popularity, but they led to the collapse), and it is also in Cancer – hinting that Alexander carried some kind of family karma. Could his departure from life really be somehow connected with the departure of his mother? In his Twitter blog, he complains about a terrible week and thanks his friends for their support. His mother must have been ill
