4th House in Gemini
A. N. Ryzhov. House Boundaries in the Signs
Mutable cross. Favorable agreements and contracts. Mental and psychic vitality.

A wise person learns at first attempt. With the 4th house in Gemini, life positions are rational and oriented more toward structural features of the world order than toward the essence of the elements composing the world. A disordered, multicolored heap is chaos; a colored pattern is order; ultimately, what the pieces are made of is not important. At lower and often middle levels, such a person will prefer a totalitarian state with segregated education for boys and girls over “democratic schools” with gangsters, drugs, and yellow press. Thought is important to this person; but this thought must originate deep within his being and, as it grows, gradually emerge outward. If he assists this process without forcing it according to his superficial mental notions or profaning it, his life position will take shape, expressing the fundamental Divine Will for the current incarnation. But one must be very cautious, since thought (like Gemini) is highly mutable and can easily be turned into its opposite. Processing brings an informational connection with God; from the depths of the soul, Divine revelations and requests arrive in words—very convenient and practical, yet equally unusual, since religiosity is usually perceived as an emotional state, which in this case will also be elevated, but will not be the main aspect of communication with God (unlike the 4th house in water signs). Although Gemini is a mutable sign, its life positions are always stable. The difference is that they are not so rigidly tied here to the thoughts that express and confirm them. In different situations, a person may utter texts opposite in meaning that illustrate his life position, or conversely, may accept practically anything as confirmation of his life position, especially at levels 1–2 of processing the 4th house, where inner honesty in these matters is still lacking. At home, it is interesting for this person; possibly a large library, many conversations and visitors. Spouse and children are intelligent, but this interferes with the depth of existential family feeling, which is replaced by a mental connection.
Houses in the Zodiac Signs. Oleksandr Kostovych
Life positions are rational and mentally oriented. The person tends to reflect upon the structure of his inner world, to assign names and form an intellectual picture of the world. Fundamental principles of existence either imperceptibly change over time or remain unchanged while only verbal descriptions and models shift. Externally, this may manifest as an unstable, changeable attitude toward relatives and ancestors, frequent changes at home, and absence of nostalgia. Processing proceeds through the development of inner honesty. The Soul’s motivation for this incarnation may be connected with the desire for communication, contacts, exchange of information, and experience.
