Work must be done conscientiously, while also striving to please it. At a low level, this placement of the 4th house brings extreme materialism in life positions: in the world, only what brings concrete benefit, expressed in rubles, is valued: “Tell me how many things and how much money you have, and I will tell you who you are.” Generally, low Virgo tends to cling to insignificant details and get stuck on them, which at the level of life position becomes utterly unbearable: “Now I will prove that I am better than you in every single respect.” In the passive variant, a person proves this to themselves; in the active variant, to others—but both can take an entire lifetime. The process of integration involves shifting from the idea of impressing the world in every detail to an equally detailed idea of creating the world, resulting in the position of a workhorse. The life position initially appears approximately as: “A person is one who plows,” preferably physically or close to it, creating material values. Here, religious feeling arises as gratitude from the egregore for concrete efforts, expressed in the satisfaction with one’s work: the person communicates with God through the material forms with which they interact—on a low level, this means fetishism; on a high level, God leaves in the person’s soul countless (for them) material signs of attention.
