v. Planets, angles, events: keys to rectification
1. Major events
Let me remind you: it makes no difference whether a planet in aspect makes an aspect to the axis or the axis to the planet — the result is the same. Perhaps an aspect of the axis to the planet is more subject to mental control. Therefore, for example, the phrase “the Sun’s exit onto the vertical axis” can be understood as “the conjunction of the vertical axis with the Sun.” Your personal axis is your parents’ social axis, and your social axis is their personal axis. Therefore, angular contacts in childhood/early youth may indicate corresponding events in the life of your parents, primarily family ones. You only need to swap the axes. Look for aspects involving the chart’s angles that reflect the death of a parent, a move (especially to another city or country), marriage, or the birth of a child. Usually, these are keys to rectification.
MC and IC in directional conjunction, tense or karmic aspect to a malefic planet, as well as in combination with a luminary, if it is afflicted in the radix by a major tense aspect from a malefic planet, may indicate the death of a father. This is one of the most important indicators in rectification.
KVIII also works, but it may also be associated with danger to the native himself. A conjunction with the Black Moon, if confirmed by other tense aspects, is considered negative (can be interpreted as an opposition to the South Node). The conjunction of the Sun with IC and Neptune (in the chart of Liszt, his mother died of pneumonia at a very advanced age) may also indicate the death of a father. But most often, the exit of Neptune onto the vertical axis is associated with the death of a grandmother or grandfather. In some cases, a child is born simultaneously (in a female chart).
Practice has shown that the death of a father does not necessarily involve the participation of the vertical axis or KVIII (although most often they are involved together or separately) — sometimes the horizontal axis works (most often — a conjunction with malefics) or the VI/XII axis (interaction in tense aspects, including conjunctions, with malefics and/or luminaries). All the listed rules apply to the death of older relatives, but the role of the luminary is played by both the transit and the converse Neptune, or the converse Jupiter.
When a malefic planet (Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto) exits any axis, injuries to the native, the death of his loved ones, or other dramatic events are possible. On the physical and material plane, these planets often act destructively. In the case of an injury to the native, it is worth looking for tense aspects involving the cusps of the VIII house. Conversely, benefic factors (Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter), as well as Neptune, coming to any angle, more often the personal axis and IC (and the V/XI axis), may give the birth of a child. It seems that in a woman, IC is more often involved in such cases, and in a man — MC. However, childbirth as an extreme process can be marked in a female chart by the contact of the personal axis or the II/III axis with an unfavorable planet. Often, however, in a male chart at the time of the birth of the first child, KVIII is also involved.
According to the observations of Mr. Globus, the birth of the first child or the first son in a man is often associated with certain trials — material losses, illness, or injury. In general, the conjunction of one of the luminaries with any cardinal axis in solar arcs brings great changes in life. The Sun in women, the Moon in men, and Venus and Jupiter in any chart, when they come to any axis, can give marriage or significant relationships. Saturn, apparently, more often in this case interacts with IC or Descendant, although Descendant can also give divorce. There have been cases of divorce when the converse Saturn exits Ascendant.
In my other book, “Predictive Astrology,” the influence of converse or transit aspects with angles is covered in more detail. There you will find many examples of the astrological reflection of various events (marriage is described in particular detail). Here, all this is given in outline.
For personal planets, the descriptions correspond to aspects in arcs or progressions; for social and higher planets — in these methods and transits.
2. Conjunctions of planets with angles
a) Conjunctions with MC
The Sun exiting to MC often means a rise in society, a peak point. Perhaps that is why the Sun “rejoices” in the 9th house. For women — possible marriage (as well as the interaction Sun = O = Descendant). The Moon can give an exit to the public. For men — possible marriage (as well as the interaction of the Moon or Venus with the personal axis). The converse Moon at MC means success in adapting to society (if it does not form stressful aspects at this time). Possible marriage/divorce, peak of life.
Jupiter — expansion of prospects in society. A long journey is possible. However, Jupiter often promises more than it actually delivers. Saturn — strengthening ambition. A transit Saturn more often strengthens positions, but weak, afflicted in the radix, or forming an unfavorable aspect when exiting to MC (that is, if MC is afflicted in the radix, especially from the 4th house), transit/directional Saturn can give stagnation or a sudden accident.
Uranus can mean head injuries, a turning point in professional activity, entering a university, or a shock. A square of Uranus to MC is often associated with sudden unfavorable changes. A contact of Uranus with the social axis can mean a change in social status and a move. For example, the transit Uranus at MC in Princess Diana’s chart during the move to the family castle in connection with inheriting the title.
Neptune, R. Ebertin calls the “success killer.” Its exit to MC is usually associated with a period of uncertainty in professional activity and self-perception. Often there is a need for religion, spiritual improvement. Emotional openness is possible. Unrealistic plans, erroneous actions, and losses may occur (as well as with a square of Neptune to any axis). In female charts, this aspect often emphasizes pregnancy.
Pluto can give sudden fateful changes in social status. For example, the transit Pluto = O = MC in Princess Diana’s chart at the moment of marriage, and Pat Nixon during her husband’s victory in the presidential election. But Pluto can also bring marginalization, throwing out of society. A square of Pluto to MC often marks a period of intense professional activity, immersion in the structure, difficulties (but also often achievements) in social advancement.
The Lunar Nodes in combination with the parental axis can emphasize cardinal changes in social status.
b) Conjunctions with IC
M. Mankasi and B. Hamerslaf associate the end of the old and the beginning of a new cycle precisely with IC, not with Ascendant. Here, the transit planet begins to move upward. Conjunctions with IC can mean both events and deep emotional changes. The Sun exiting to IC always means great changes in life, the beginning of a new period. In women, this is often significant relationships, but not necessarily marriage. For women (more often), the converse Moon exiting to IC can mean the birth of a child, settling the home. Marriage of the Sun and converse Moon at IC can bring both men and women a child.
Venus — marriage is not excluded, a child is possible. Mars — quarrels at home, possible divorce, other unfavorable events at home. Sometimes this is a move. Jupiter — often repairs (which subjectively may seem luxurious), large expenses at home, a profitable exchange, large purchases for the house. A child is possible.
Saturn — often unfavorable events at home. The death of a father is possible. Transit Saturn — the same, plus often a change in professional activity and the beginning of an ascent in society (there may be a feeling of a new start “from scratch”). Sometimes a transit Saturn conjuncts the Ascendant on the day of a decisive turn for the better. Also, several times I have encountered the exit of converse or transit Saturn to IC at the moment of marriage, which means the stabilization of the home situation and, apparently, the appearance of an authoritative figure.
Uranus often means a move, sudden changes, and a nervous state at home, but can also mean a sudden accident in society and the beginning of Uranian activity (by opposition to MC). There is an example of a conjunction of the Sun with IC and Uranus, the IX axis at the first trip abroad.
Neptune — various domestic illusions, possibly a rise in spirituality. A child is possible. More than once, the Sun or transit Neptune has fallen on IC if the nature of the union concluded at that time was in some way ambiguous or deceptive.
Pluto can give a complete upheaval in the home (family) situation. By opposition to MC, it can lead to a radical change in social status. Example: in a female horoscope, the Sun IC in conjunction with Pluto. Sudden betrayal by the fiancé, psychological crisis, marriage to his friend, and a distant move to the place of the husband’s service — all this within a year.
c) Conjunctions with Ascendant
They mean a change in well-being, meetings, and emotional changes. These are also injuries, especially to the head (primarily in conjunctions with Mars and Uranus).
The Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Pluto for women can mean an important meeting. For men, these planets are most often associated with self-expression. Significant relationships (not necessarily love) for men are brought by the Moon (often marriage), Venus, Jupiter, Pluto. Neptune often gives marriage, but with an illusory tint, even deception. The converse Moon often gives a new start, release from old conditions. Jupiter has repeatedly been found on Ascendant at the moment of a long trip or move. Saturn can bring depression, but also a desire for social self-affirmation. Often this is the crystallization of beliefs. Deterioration in health is not excluded. Uranus gives moves, a desire for independence. It can also give spiritual uplift associated with Uranian activity. It can also mean shocks and injuries. Neptune brings illusions, love, emotional openness. It is associated with the first impression of distant cultures, music, the sea, theater, cinema, a sense of guilt, altered states of consciousness, illnesses. It can bring deception and disappointment. Neptune exiting to Ascendant in childhood can indicate not only illness, the first meeting with the sea or music, but also frustration due to difficulties in the family.
The action of Pluto carries deep changes, transformation of personality. It can affect at a deep level without bright events. More than once, the passage of Pluto over Ascendant has been associated with the beginning of occult practices. Often the passage of Pluto over MC or Ascendant is associated with the death of relatives or other dramatic events.
d) Conjunctions with Descendant
The Sun in women is a classic indicator of marriage. Marriage for women can also be given by the Moon, Venus, Mars (less often), Jupiter, Neptune (but it is worth considering its deceptive nature), Saturn. For men — the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune. The time of marriage can be signaled by the converse Moon exiting to Descendant as an additional indicator. Mars brings quarrels, physical activity, the possibility of injury (as well as when exiting to Ascendant, KVIII). In women, a connection with an energetic man is possible. Jupiter often means the possibility of social advancement through a partner, sometimes illusory. Saturn brings both separation and cooling if the relationship has run its course, and a strong, officially formalized marriage. It can give breaks (with the participation of Mars, Uranus), weakening of the body, a difficult emotional state (as well as when exiting to Ascendant, KVIII). All this also applies to squares of Saturn. A classic indicator of sudden short-term relationships or divorce is the exit of Uranus to Descendant. However, with strong accompanying aspects, it can conjunct Descendant by the time of marriage — but in this case, the marriage is unlikely to be peaceful (or traditional). Surprisingly, Neptune also often brings marriage, as well as disappointment, deception. Its square to Ascendant can give creative openness, but for relationships, it is more likely to be negative. It is believed that Pluto gives a complete transformation of the circle of communication, possible psychotherapeutic communication, psychological probing. A square of Pluto to Ascendant is usually a sign of a psychologically difficult period.
3. Aspects of cusps: mix the colors
There are two main methods of considering aspects of cusps to planets (and vice versa):
– aspects of the cusp to the significator (symbolic ruler) of the same house or to its ruler, or to a planet, or D, d. ruler of the 8th house, or Descendant — planet in the 8th house; in this method, we are, as it were, within the limits of the values of one house;
– aspects according to the event formula, for example, 7th + 4th — a move, 8th + 10th — marriage, etc. (event formulas are systematized by S.V. Shestopalov); in this method, the house cusp or planet related to this house aspects the cusp of another house or a planet that is related to it (that is, it rules it or is located in it). The colors are mixed. Practice shows that both methods work together. Most often, an event is marked by an aspect in arcs (progressions) involving the significator of this event, that is, the planet that corresponds to the nature of the event, and the main house of the event (or houses that form the event formula).
For example, the significator of marriage for men and women is Venus. The main house of marriage is the 7th house. The 10th house (especially MC) may also be involved, since marriage is a serious change in social status (and therefore the 7th + 10th formula is the most logical for marriage). Ch. Carter notes that during marriage in directions, Venus in many cases forms an aspect to a planet in the 7th house or to Descendant (or receives an aspect from them). Practice shows that this can also be the same aspect in progressions (especially Venus — Descendant), or an aspect involving Venus and MC (converse or transit Venus —? MC, or transit MC —? natal Venus).
In addition, the significator of marriage for women is the Sun, and for men — the Moon (regardless of whether it is a daytime or nighttime birth). And indeed, often in a female chart during marriage in arcs or progressions, aspects Sun — Descendant or MC are formed (with the vertical axis — more often conjunction), and in a male chart — the interaction of the Moon with one of the cardinal axes in arcs. Or planets related to the birth of children: primarily the Moon and Jupiter (a woman is happy, a woman’s body expands). The main house of a child is the 5th. During pregnancy, aspects of transit Jupiter to the Moon are not uncommon, interaction between them in arcs, and arc or progressive aspects involving the cusps of the 5th/11th houses and these planets are a serious indication of the possibility of conception. But other variants of indications are possible. For example, the 5th/11th axis cusps can form aspects with other planets, especially planets of sex — Venus and Mars, and the planet of blood relationship — Neptune (I would exclude from the indications only aspects with Mercury and Saturn), and each of the cardinal axes can be in aspect, especially in conjunction, with any benefic or Neptune. These indications are especially eloquent in a female horoscope. For example, transit KU forms a conjunction with Venus, a quintile to Jupiter and a trine to Mars, at the same time converse KU forms an opposition to Neptune, and converse Ascendant conjuncts the Moon. Here, the cusp of the main house of the event is strongly involved, and the significator of the event — the Moon — emphasizes the aspect of the personal axis.
Similar examples can be given endlessly. But sometimes the connection of the aspect and the event is not obvious. In these cases, the astrological alphabet is useful, an idea that belongs to Z. Dobbins, when the house, sign, and planet denote approximately the same range of phenomena and are to some extent interchangeable. For example, an event happened on the water in a distant country and is associated with a woman. This can be described by the interaction of the Moon, Jupiter, and Venus, or Neptune, the 9th house, and the Moon. As you know, houses form six axes. These are:
– Personal axis I — You (Ascendant — Descendant);
– Resource axis 2/8; tense aspects of malefics to this axis undermine resources, and Neptune’s — erode; any encounter with death, including someone else’s, concerns our energy resource, but the death of an older relative can also occur with harmonious aspects involving this axis (they take our place and continue our existence in the sublunar world);
– Communication, travel, education axis 3/9;
– Social, or parental, or vertical axis IC/MC;
– Creativity axis 5/11;
– Service axis 6/12.
A conjunction with one of the cusps of the axis can resonate with an event of the opposite house. An aspect to the axis affects both opposite houses. There is no point in describing events related to the twelve houses. Much has been said about this by other authors. In particular, a good description of the effects of directional aspects involving cusps is given in the book “Symbolic Directions” by M. Levina, T. Mityaeva, and V. Tishchenko. This description can also be applied to progressive aspects. Having familiarized yourself with the astrological alphabet, you will easily compose your own descriptions of various aspects.
Let me note some accents.
Major life events in most charts are marked by aspects involving cardinal axes, and in arcs this can be an aspect from the axis to the planet or vice versa, and in progressions, according to my observations, it is more often an aspect of the personal axis to the planet.
1, 5, 9 houses are considered “happy.” Conjunctions with the elements of these houses are mostly favorable. 6, 8, 12 houses are considered “unhappy.” Conjunctions with the elements of these houses are unfavorable, even if these are benefic planets. Tense aspects with the elements of these houses (including with the cusps of the 7th and 11th houses) can give illnesses and other troubles.
Conjunctions, squares, oppositions (less often), karmic aspects of luminaries and malefics with KVIII — extreme situations, encounters with death, involvement in physical/spiritual practices associated with significant tension, injuries, illness, depression. Connection with large money, sex. A desire for risk. Serious changes in life are possible. Aspects of the VI/XII axis. Most often associated with illness, hospitalization, or deception (especially combinations of KXII). The same effect can be given by a conjunction/opposition/square of Ascendant with Neptune. However, a conjunction of a planet with KXII can also indicate spiritual growth, entry into a secret society, acceptance of a spiritual rank. For example, the converse Sun in Richelieu’s horoscope conjuncts KXII when he became a priest. Transit Pluto exited KXII in a man’s horoscope in the year of joining the Rosicrucian society. The same aspect in another horoscope led to the beginning of active astrological practice and studies in depth psychology.
A major aspect with the ruler of the 8th house often brings cardinal changes in the affairs of the house with which it interacts.
4. Creative duet, or the vertical axis
Rectification is like a second birth. Here you are following in the footsteps of two co-authors. Try to ensure that the houses of the vertical (social, parental) axis — 4th and 10th — reflect the creative duet of the native’s parents. Sometimes the horoscope quite clearly describes the mother by the 5th house, and the father by the 4th. For example:
a) the mother works on television, and the father is an officer, and in a woman’s chart Neptune is in the 10th house, and Mars is in the 4th.
b) the mother is an actress and administrator, the father is engaged in scientific activities related to electricity. In a man’s chart, MC in Leo and the Sun in Capricorn, IC in Aquarius and Uranus in the 9th house.
But it is not always so obvious. Sometimes the symbolism is contradictory. For example, in A. Schwarzenegger’s chart, Neptune rules the 10th house but stands in the 1st. His father drank and was musically gifted, and his mother was religious. Whom does Neptune describe? There are also cases when the 10th house clearly describes the father. For example: contradictory symbolism. The father of a man is a homebuilder: Saturn in Cancer in the 10th house. But this Saturn rules the 4th house.
When a malefic planet interacts with the parental axis, aspects usually affect both angles, so it is difficult to predict which parent is in danger. And the conjunctions in directions of malefics with the cusps of the parental axis do not clarify this, since the mother can die at a conjunction with IC, and the father — with MC, and vice versa. Therefore, it is difficult to unambiguously assign MC and the 10th house to one parent, and the opposite to the other. The Sun and Saturn (in my opinion, to a lesser extent) are significators of the father. If the father left the family early (for various reasons: died, divorced, left), or the child felt a lack of paternal attention, in the horoscope the Sun or Saturn may stand in water houses, and in case of early death of the father, or early separation from him — near their cusps.
With a strong, significant father, we often see the Sun or Saturn in a cardinal house, especially in the 1st and 10th. Example:
a) in a woman’s horoscope, the Sun in Scorpio a degree before IC: the father became an alcoholic when she was a year old.
b) in a man’s horoscope, the Sun in Scorpio a degree and a half before KVIII (in the Koch system): the father died when the native was a year and a half old;
c) in a woman’s horoscope, the Sun in Gemini in the 2nd house, Saturn in Pisces in the 11th: the father was very sociable, then after an illness became deaf and mute (Pisces — mute sign); she has felt unloved all her life (Saturn in the 11th, according to M. Til — the need to be loved);
d) in a woman’s chart, Saturn in Leo in the 4th house, the king of aspects, in trine to Neptune, in quincunx to the Sun (and the Sun in semi-sextile to Neptune): a drinking, demonstrative father; but in childhood he did not leave his daughter literally “like a hen,” so he had a very strong influence. The Sun in Capricorn (father is a builder) in the 8th house in square to Pluto: the father’s behavior was extreme, in youth the daughter had a conflict with the father.
Planets in the cosmogram of a significant father can have strong contacts with the native’s horoscope. Example: Neptune of the mother in conjunction with MC, and Saturn — with Ascendant of the son’s horoscope. The mother from childhood exerted a disciplining (and predominant) influence on him by virtue of her character; she also chose his profession (art). In his horoscope, the Moon is on Descendant and Pluto is in square to the Nodes (signature of the mother’s influence, as well as a strong tense contact of the Moon with the Nodes and/or the Nodes on the cardinal axes).
At the moment of the parents’ birth, in the child’s horoscope in converse arcs, strong aspects to the angles can be formed. Moreover, it is believed that one way or another, the history of the family is fixed in the converse and/or transit aspects in the horoscope (S. Ayzin). Example (Chart 10):
21.10.1918 — father was born. Venus at KI.
29.11.1921 — mother was born. Converse Jupiter at MC.
6.07.1943 — older brother was born. Mars at KIX.
Converse Jupiter = 90 = KIII. SKIX = O = Saturn.
8.08.1947 — wife was born. Converse Mercury at IC. Converse Venus = 30 = Descendant. Converse Moon biquintile Ascendant. Converse Ascendant semi-quintile Jupiter.
Chart 10. Contemporary. 2.04.1946. 19.07 GT 56N50; 62E43
1.04.1952 — younger brother was born. Converse Neptune = 45 = Ascendant. Converse Pluto = 45 = MC. Jupiter in lunar arcs = O = KIII.
6. Ретrogression on the theme
1. Solar returns
When you have found correspondence to all events in arcs, progressions, and transits, consider local charts of solar returns (SR). They are considered as independent charts, and in synastry with the radix. Very often, a new character in the native’s life can be seen in the 7th house of SR (you need to know not just the date of marriage, but the period of the beginning of relationships!), the death of loved ones — in the 8th, hospitalization of the native — in the 12th (especially Saturn), a child (in female charts) in the 5th/11th houses of SR or radix (that is, C/or) accentuation of these houses in the radix by SR planets; often these are the Moon, Jupiter), the mother’s illness — in the 10th (Saturn, Uranus).
In addition, consider the aspects between the cusps and planets of the SR chart (primarily conjunctions), as well as between the cusps of the SR chart and natal planets and vice versa, especially conjunctions with angles (without striving for special accuracy). The SR planet that symbolizes the main event of the year often forms a strong contact with the angles of the natal chart, or, conversely, the angles of the SR chart are in aspect to the corresponding natal planet.
Example: Contemporary, 11.01.1957. 0.15 GMT 50N00; 36E15 and a contemporary, 2.09.1954, 15.45 GMT, there, met in the spring of 1975. The relationship was stormy and short-lived. In both SR-75 (his on 11.01.75, hers on 02.09.75 on natal coordinates) Uranus at Descendant!
In most subsequent SR of this native, angular and cusp contacts are also indicative. For example:
– SR-81, conscription to the army, in connection with this — a move to Moscow: Asc SR = O = Jupiter radix; Uranus SR = 90 = MC radix; the 3/9 axis SR on the Nodes axis radix;
– SR-93, death of the father and marriage: Venus at Descendant SR; MC SR in square to Pluto radix;
– SR-99 (55N45; 37E35), second marriage: Moon SR in trine to his Descendant, which is in sextile to the natal Moon; Jupiter SR at KU radix;
– SR-2000 (there), child: MC SR in square to the natal Moon; Moon SR in trine to the natal Ascendant; Jupiter SR (ruler of the 5th house radix by septenary) in trine to the natal MC.
You can also check lunars (return of the Moon to the natal position) that precede major life events. They are analyzed like SR.
Eclipses (including partial) that occurred shortly before decisive life events (usually about a month, but sometimes up to a year) can also give another confirmation of rectification. The chart built at the moment of the eclipse often describes the archetype of the event and even its result, for example,
Chart 11. Synastry of the radix of a contemporary (17.10.1977. 5.44 st. 51N30; 46E07) and the eclipse chart 1.9. st. (in the outer circle) of measures, the result of the relationship began to manifest, which can manifest itself over the years. Of course, it cannot be said that eclipses affect everyone in the same way. But if the symbolic content of the eclipse chart corresponds to the nature of the event, its analysis will allow you to draw appropriate conclusions. It is believed that the planets in the eclipse chart should touch the corresponding houses or angles of the radix, and the eclipse point itself emphasizes the house associated with the event. However, this is not always the case — the connection of the eclipse chart with the radix is not always so obvious, and the degree of the eclipse itself may not be as important as the planets in the eclipse chart.
It is worth considering the interaction of the eclipse chart with both the radix and the relocation chart. We can get significant contacts with both charts. Example:
a) Accident with the mother of a contemporary (Chart 11)
In August 1997, the girl’s mother attempted suicide. The eclipse point is in the 4th house, Pluto of the eclipse in square to the natal MC, Mars and the Node of the eclipse at KXI radix (a surprise). This example shows that the eclipse affects both the radix and the relocation chart. The incident occurred near Moscow, where the family had moved by that time (see Chart 11-1).
In the relocation chart, Pluto of the eclipse at KVIII, Uranus of the eclipse in square to the personal axis. However, the square of Pluto to the parental axis of the radix is more accurate and archetypal for the event — soon the girl’s parents divorced. In the radix, this is a family event, a transformation of foundations, and in the relocation chart — a personal shock and danger to the life of the native.
Chart 12-1. Synastry of the radix of a contemporary (13.02.1974. 23.40 GT 49N25; 27E00) and the eclipse chart (12.10.1996. 14.48.08 Gr, in the outer circle)
b) Marriage and childbirth (Charts 12 — 12-)
born on April 22, 1997. The eclipse chart, built on natal coordinates (see Chart 12), itself symbolizes the event: the eclipse point is in the 7th house in Libra. Uranus in trine to Descendant hints at an unexpected marriage, and Pluto, ruler of the 8th house of childbirth, in close sextile
Chart 12-2. The same eclipse chart (local) to Descendant — about the reason for its conclusion. Saturn at Ascendant makes one wary: perhaps these relationships threaten depression or difficult obligations. However, Neptune of the eclipse in trine to Descendant radix acts as an anesthetic (Chart 12-1). The eclipse point falls in the 11th house of the radix, indicating not marriage, but the future appearance of a child. The “double blow” of synastry indicates the end of the relationship: Neptune of the eclipse in conjunction with the natal Venus, and Venus of the eclipse in square to the natal Neptune. These are very indicative contacts, since Venus rules the 7th house of the radix, and Neptune — the 4th house.
Chart 12-3. Synastry of the relocation chart (55N45; 37E35) and the eclipse chart (in the outer circle)
The chart of the same eclipse with the coordinates of Moscow paints a slightly different picture (Chart 12-2). This is a forced marriage (the eclipse point is in the 6th house of the eclipse chart), associated with pregnancy (the Moon rules the 4th house, and the Sun — the 5th house of the eclipse chart) and threatens to break up (Uranus in square to the personal axis of the eclipse chart). In synastry with the relocation chart (Chart 12-3), Neptune of the eclipse is again active — it makes a trine to the MC of the relocation chart, instilling illusions of a strong social status.
Chart 13. Solar eclipse 5.02.2000. 13.04.53 GT 55N45; 37E35
c) Divorce and promotion (Chart 13)
The marriage of the woman whose chart we have just considered was first attacked on May 24, 2000, when the couple quarreled. Shortly before the quarrel, on February 5, 2000, an eclipse occurred, whose chart with Moscow coordinates speaks of the results of this quarrel: the marriage ended with a “soft” break, outwardly “Neptunian,” but “Uranian.” The eclipse chart is surprisingly eloquent. It can be assumed that the relationship that began at this time is unlikely to be strong, and in the marriage of a person whose radix has tense contacts with the eclipse chart (especially if this is a resident of Moscow and the Moscow region, since this can be on Descendant just on Descendant on. Uranus in Aquarius in conjunction with the eclipse point in the 7th house, and Neptune on Descendant describe free relationships with the possibility of illusion or deception. Mars of the eclipse in conjunction with IC of the relocation chart to Moscow from the previous example — quarrels at home. The eclipse point is in the 3rd house of the relocation chart (and radix).
Chart 13-1. Synastry of the radix and the eclipse chart (5.02.2000) (in the outer circle) in this case shows the result of the marriage at least as clearly: Pluto of the eclipse in square to the vertical axis, and Saturn of the radix — to ____________ vertical axis of the eclipse chart. It is here that we see an indication of a simultaneous rise up the social ladder, associated with an increase in responsibility. It is important to note that by the position of the point of this eclipse in the 3rd house of the radix (and relocation chart) we would not have been able to conclude about the future divorce or promotion.
d) Difficulties in marriage and hobbies (Chart 14)
This same eclipse on 5.02.2000 brought difficulties in the marriage of another contemporary. The eclipse point and Uranus in conjunction with the Moon in the 6th house, which rules the 11th house. Unexpected quarrels in the family sounded (the main event that is not related to the 6th house), difficulties with health, the purchase of medical equipment based on modern technologies (this is already the influence of the 6th house). The woman learned about her husband’s platonic relationships (Neptune of the eclipse in conjunction with the natal Sun). Thus, Neptune on Descendant of the eclipse chart was revealed; however, the lunation of this eclipse can also be found in the hobby that visited the woman a year later and ended in a breakup. The possibility of a new meeting is hinted at by the conjunction of Descendant of the eclipse with the natal Sun. Domestic troubles — Uranus radix at IC of the eclipse chart
