Most of us dream of having money in our pockets in the amount we need, so there’s no necessity to count every penny from paycheck to paycheck. These are understandable desires, but often we simply don’t know how to treat money the way it deserves.
Many people have heard, of course, that in order for money to flow, one must relate to it in a certain way. Indeed, there are numerous superstitions promising that if strictly observed, not only will money appear in your pocket, but also in your home. Let’s take a look at the most common ones.
- It is believed that on payday you should not spend a single penny of your earnings—the entire amount must remain untouched at home overnight, otherwise money will not grow fond of your roof.
- Some keepers of practical wisdom insistently advise keeping one large banknote throughout the year. They claim that this banknote will absorb your energy and begin attracting money to itself.
- Only the lazy haven’t scolded someone for whistling indoors. Supposedly, if you whistle, you won’t have money.
- Another bad omen is brushing crumbs off the table with your hand.
- If, God forbid, your neighbor knocks on your door and asks to borrow a few slices of bread or salt, don’t accommodate such a neighbor without resistance, otherwise prosperity might leave your home and move into your neighbor’s.
- Superstitions have even reached the broom. To attract pleasantly crisp banknotes, you should place the broom with its handle pointing downward.
- If you plan to ask your boss for a well-deserved raise, don’t rush with your arguments—better wait until Wednesday.
- When it comes to borrowing, there are specific tricks. For example, it’s not advisable to lend money on Mondays, borrowing should be done on Tuesdays, and debts should be repaid on Fridays. All financial transactions (including giving and lending) must be conducted in the morning, since any actions involving money in the evening threaten financial ruin.
- Although, of course, it’s better never to borrow and live within your means. However, lending to others should be done more often. It is believed that by doing so, you essentially program money to return to you.
- When hanging clothes in the closet until next season, don’t forget to place at least a small banknote inside. But first, make sure the pockets aren’t torn and the buttons aren’t loose—money doesn’t like that.
- A bad omen is considered to be an empty wallet. Therefore, there must always be at least one coin inside. Banknotes should be arranged with their front side facing up, and in one of the compartments, always keep a one-dollar bill folded into a triangle.
- Your wallet should be equipped with a kind of amulet—a “lucky coin”: this could be your first earned money or a coin received from a good person, etc. This coin must always remain in your wallet and under no circumstances, no matter the temptation, should you ever spend it, otherwise money will take offense and stop coming your way.
- If money comes to you easily, for example, you win it from a slot machine or simply find it on the street, such luck will bring you nothing good. You must get rid of this money immediately. Give it to the needy or spend it as quickly as possible.
By following these simple rules, you have every chance of attracting those desired banknotes to yourself. But remember, money is easily lost, so consistency and persistence are essential in this matter.
