Sun Decile: Was the creation of man a humanistic act? This aspect presents in a person’s life the problem of the humanity of their own volitional expressions and initiatives, as well as (usually weak) imperative influences of fate in the sphere of the Planet’s influence. In its sphere, the person will be relatively free, and they will have to regulate their will based on considerations of humanism – as they understand it. At the very least, the thought of humanity or this very theme will arise in them in connection with the (usually weakly expressed) necessity to do something in the sphere of the Planetary principle or to manifest a certain personal initiative within it. With a harmonious Sun, these initiatives will be appropriate and will appear humane; with an afflicted Sun, the person will often be overly active, and the result, despite the best intentions, will turn out to be lamentable and disharmonious, especially if the Planet is afflicted and its principle is difficult to satisfy. At the same time, they will experience external coercion over their will in the Planet’s spheres as absolutely anti-human, although the direct actual harm in the Planet’s spheres will, as a rule, be minor.

Jupiter Decile: The humanity of God is no more doubtful than the humanity of man. This person will seek manifestations of their humanity in expanding opportunities for other people in areas related to the Planet. In these spheres, they are characterized by broad humanitarian interests; for example, an integrated Sun-Jupiter decile can produce a philosopher engaged in the problem of human free will, while at a lower level, it can manifest as a religious fanatic who preaches the principle “who is not with us is against us” and considers only puppets of their egregore to be human; in this case, they will consider the conversion to their faith of those who accept it, and the extermination of others, to be humane. Here, humanism as the expansion of opportunities for others in the Planet’s spheres does not arise spontaneously but requires certain efforts on the part of the person and the connection of principles of other planets (for example, Sun and Mars, i.e., initiative, energy, etc.). On the other hand, a person at a low level will pride themselves on their philanthropy and opportunities for humane assistance in the Planet’s spheres, and any doubt about their real merits here will be perceived as an insult, and minimal restrictions or even just a comparison with someone greater (or even equally great) will be seen as an anti-human humiliation. An integrated Jupiter decile gives (in the relevant areas) great humanists; an unintegrated one gives claims to this, but the more afflicted Jupiter is, the more it is expressed.
