The Venus sextile grants great constructive power to love in the areas governed by the planet. However, a person at a low level of processing Venus, focused solely on consumption, will not engage in any activity that requires effort, even when the light of possible love touches their face, only to bitterly regret it later or harden into lonely selfishness. Karma always implies processing or at least periodic activation of aspects, and if a person ignores the influence of Venus through the planet’s sextile, the principle of the latter will suffer from a lack of understanding and love, which will also affect the person as a whole. The person may be poorly aware of exactly what and why they are doing it, but the feeling of the height of the flow and, at the same time, strong resistance from the material will serve as indirect signs of the achieved perfection. At a low level, the Neptune sextile offers many opportunities for deception and self-deception, but also a sense of attraction from the planet, a feeling of ecstasy in mastering its principle. However, this will require much effort, especially in cultivating inner honesty in assessing one’s real achievements. If the planet is afflicted, there may be an avoidance of unpleasantness in the world of illusions, in which Neptune, of course, will assist, but later harsh disappointments or blows from fate will begin. False pity differs from true compassion, which a person clearly feels when it is directed toward them.
