Mars conjunction: True burden is invisible. True strength is imperceptible. A conjunction with Mars gives the Planet power, which at a low level is destructive. The Planet’s principle seems inflated by energy, but, unable to direct it constructively, most often manifests as aggression and destruction. For example, an unprocessed Mars-Moon conjunction produces aggression toward one’s own body, while Mars-Saturn brings extraordinary obstacles during attempts at self-deepening and concentration—e.g., a window suddenly shatters from a football crashing into the room. Processing here does not primarily involve restraining excess energy in the areas ruled by the Planet, although initially such control is necessary, but rather refining the energy of the conjunction and raising its vibrational level; for instance, with Mars-Moon, it is better not to develop muscular strength but to learn mastery of psychic energy (higher stages of hatha yoga, autogenic training, etc.), and with Mars-Saturn, efforts are better directed not toward fighting distractions and temptations, but toward enhancing focus and concentration. At a high level, Mars provides the Planet with precisely the energy it needs in each specific case, qualitatively enhancing its creative potential. But this requires recognizing the fallacy of the attractive principle “strong means good” and eliminating the forceful subjugation of the Planet to Mars typical of low and middle levels—especially in Mars-Venus conjunctions, where a person for a long time perceives and values beauty only when combined with visible strength. Jupiter conjunction: Standing on the shoulders of giants, make sure they don’t stoop from it. At a low level, a conjunction with Jupiter gives the Planet an acute sense of self-importance. The person sincerely believes their expressions in the corresponding areas are extraordinarily important and significant; they feel they have immense potential, and everyone, recognizing this, should help them and serve selflessly. Indeed, potentially this aspect brings great expansion of the Planet’s principle and sometimes undeserved happiness (especially with a strong Jupiter), such as powerful patronage. The danger lies in the tendency to perceive these opportunities as given, as if it could not be otherwise, and to enjoy them in a purely egoistic, hedonistic manner. A Jupiter conjunction implies an intense invitation from the egregore, and the person (karmically) must not only receive the gifts but also enter the egregore and perform necessary work within it, or else transfer the channel to a suitable person. For example, a Jupiter-Mars conjunction means the person will have abundant energy coming from diverse sources, but also a strong temptation to expend it chaotically, thoughtlessly, and inefficiently, although they may long remain subconsciously convinced that any of their active deeds are flawless and bring pure grace.
