Sun–Jupiter Conjunction
(Transit Sun → Natal Jupiter)
Various sources for the child’s horoscope
This child tries to “enlarge” their personality and expand their spheres of influence because it is difficult for them to accept themselves as they truly are. Sometimes this helps them achieve their goals. In the child’s eyes, the parent is a great provider who, as compensation for the time not spent with the child, brings many gifts and things.

Catherine Aubier. Astrological Dictionary
Conjunction: a perfect example of self-confidence and optimism. The person is filled with calm assurance and tends to care for their own well-being and that of others. Astrological tradition attributes generosity and a willingness to advocate for others to this aspect, but these abilities never force them to sacrifice their ambitions, for the principle here triumphs: “First and foremost, it’s about me; if you follow me, that’s good for you… and woe to those who do not.” In some cases (poorly aspected conjunction), there is a tendency to see oneself as the “Lord of All.” In other words, this aspect is often associated with power, as it gives a taste for authority.
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Conjunction: “If you call yourself a nut, climb into the barrel.” A planet’s conjunction with the Sun gives its expressions an imperative shade at a high level of processing the aspect. At a low level, the imperative is more about the necessity of processing the planet. The Sun illuminates the lower manifestations of its principle and actualizes it, mainly through direct pressure. At a low level of processing the Sun, it acts through rigid imperatives imposed on the planet, suppressing its creative essence and forcing its principle to manifest within very narrow limits it cannot truly fit into; excessive internal tension and an explosion result, and the Absolute’s creativity manifests both in the moment and nature of the explosion (unpredictable in advance) and in the form and trajectories of the debris. If the conjunction is unprocessed but stands harmoniously, these explosions will be more dangerous to others, and the planet’s creative essence will only appear in the form of rigidly egoistic consumption in areas corresponding to its principle. For example, an unprocessed Sun–Mars conjunction produces great but futile activity that, however, seems extraordinarily important and useful to the person themselves, while also granting the ability to completely drain another person’s energy, leaving them literally exhausted and devoid of even a hint of gratitude. Processing the conjunction (and the Sun) will shift the focus to a higher egregore, where the solar initiative acts not as a rigid command but as a guiding direction for activity—and, most importantly, as a point of attention. Then the interaction between the Sun and the planet becomes significantly easier, and the planet receives from the Sun a kind of weak magnetization that serves as orientation in complex (for the planet) conditions when the optimal choice is not obvious.
Conjunction with Jupiter: “Standing on the shoulders of giants, make sure they don’t collapse from it.” At a low level, a conjunction with Jupiter gives the planet a keen sense of its own importance. The person sincerely believes that their manifestations in the relevant areas are extraordinarily significant; they have tremendous opportunities, and everyone who understands this must help and selflessly serve them. Indeed, this aspect potentially grants great expansion of the planet’s principle and, at times, undeserved personal happiness (especially with a strong Jupiter), such as high patronage. The danger lies in the person’s tendency to perceive these opportunities as given, as if it could not be otherwise, and in purely egoistic enjoyment of them. Processing involves recognizing one’s responsibility for any Jupiterian gifts and opportunities as group values and their most effective and creative distribution. A Jupiter conjunction signifies an intense invitation from the egregore, and the person (karmically) must not only consume the gifts but also enter the egregore and do the necessary work with it (or within it), or else pass the channel to the appropriate person. For example, a Jupiter–Mars conjunction means the person will have a great deal of energy coming from various sources, but also a strong temptation to spend it chaotically, thoughtlessly, and ineffectively—though they will long subconsciously believe that any of their active actions are flawless and carry pure grace. At a high level of processing, this person opens high-energy and spiritual channels for others (in general, a Jupiter conjunction is the aspect of a preacher).

S.V. Shestopalov. Aspects of Planets
Success in life, happiness, a broad perspective, justice, nobility, a gift of foresight, humanitarianism, generosity, kindness, philanthropy, cheerfulness, optimism, honesty, sincerity; spiritual and scientific interests; a philosophical nature, devotion to Providence and Fortune; in women, a happy marriage. The negative side of this aspect is that loyalty to authority and a successful career can reconcile a person with the injustices prevailing in society and lull them into complacency.
