Saturn trine: Evolution is universal. The Saturn trine gives a person, in the spheres related to the planet, natural discipline, concentration, and diligence, and, if desired and possible, the ability to shift one’s burden onto others. On the other hand, even a Saturn trine imparts certain restraint, coldness, and rigidity to the planetary principle, which can be overcome through focused internal processing of the planet’s principle. Here, as is typical of a trine in general, the obstacle is laziness, which, however, is not obvious, since Saturn itself demands focus and effort. Nevertheless (in the sphere of the planetary principle), a person tends to work precisely as much as circumstances demand, and not a second longer. And circumstances (regarding the areas governed by the planet) never force one to concentrate or delve too deeply or intensely into the subject, and although externally the person may appear a hero of selfless labor, their inner focus and intensity tend to be clearly insufficient.
A person with a Saturn–Sun trine may look with bewilderment at those who cannot gather themselves and do what is objectively necessary, and it is utterly incomprehensible to them when someone with an unaspected Saturn complains of an inability to concentrate and discipline themselves in the most pressing circumstances. Working out this aspect leads to serious development of the planetary principle, primarily within the person, i.e., deep and thorough elaboration of the corresponding subconscious programs, promising creative achievements and profound individual self-expression.
At a low level, superficial efforts and focus on the planetary principle are mistaken for depth, which can lead to professional disappointment: a person raises high hopes, but they soon crumble. A brilliant physics student becomes a mediocre software engineer (unprocessed Saturn–Uranus trine). Unfortunately, this is not all: a Saturn trine, which karmically implies deep processing of the planet’s principle and creates all the conditions for a person, if this does not happen, freezes the planet, and the person loses flexibility, sensitivity, and understanding in the corresponding areas, sometimes becoming enslaved to a rigid egregore (Saturn trines resemble a jailer or a concentration camp commander).
Chiron trine: Words are like children: they play freely only by themselves. The Chiron trine gives a person, in the spheres influenced by the planet, an amazing freshness of perception of the world and their own manifestations. They somehow manage to look at things in an entirely unusual yet highly convincing way and present them to others, making it difficult to forget or repress what has been seen. This aspect often bestows a unique sense of humor and the ability to entertain others, sometimes thoroughly confusing and perplexing them, which brings the person great satisfaction.
At a high level, this aspect provides insights and development of the planetary principle that seem incredible to contemporaries but become fundamental to the next generation: what Chiron reveals eventually becomes foundational. At a low level, a person tends to exploit the Chiron trine without exerting effort, growing accustomed to chaotic and surprising situations resolving themselves quickly and painlessly, often as if by a witty joke of fate. However, anyone who believes they have fully grasped Chiron’s humor—and especially thinks that this planet’s influence will not touch them personally—is deeply mistaken. When fate’s humor touches essential aspects of their own life (and the principles of planets always relate to such things), the person usually has little to laugh about. They desperately try to understand what is happening to them, but an unprocessed Chiron trine does not grant this understanding. Eventually, it usually provides an outlet, but the feeling remains that they are in a foreign country at a variety show, poorly understanding the language, vainly trying to grasp the comedian’s puns—while the entire audience is in stitches for no apparent reason.
