Biquintile Neptune – Chiron
(Transit. Neptune → Natal Chiron)
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Biquintile of Neptune: Even geese have their mantras. This aspect gives the planet’s spheres a love for lower forms of life and compassion for them; at a high level, it grants a subtle understanding of them and a humane attitude, when a person acts as a higher being, so to speak, a kind of deity. At a low level, there is no true understanding, but the person seeks lower life in search of lower meditations, profaning themselves to it and striving for a lower octave of those feelings and experiences that are desirable to them in a higher form but inaccessible without special effort. For example, a biquintile between Neptune and Mercury or Neptune and Venus may produce a socially adjusted and sober person who adores conversations with tramps, alcoholics, etc., voluntarily helping them find their next dose or simply offering moral support by aligning with and reinforcing their own. Here, there is an attachment to a lower form of life, but the help given is not so much for them as for oneself (indirect satisfaction of suppressed desires for freedom and the joy of life). In the case of Neptune’s affliction, various distortions in the perception of lower forms of life and inappropriate (though often unclear why) involvement in their affairs may arise, and resolving the situation can be very difficult, or one may need to account for specific lower programs of the subconscious that have been actualized. Harmonious Neptune creates a distortedly rosy picture of lower life and one’s role in it, and minimal successful participation in its problems will bring the person into a euphoric state, even if real results are practically absent; still, a harmonious biquintile grants a natural grace that radiates from the person to lower forms of life, and children and dogs will love them unconditionally.
Biquintile of Chiron: Even the villain is a vessel of God — just with a chipped handle. This aspect gives the planet’s spheres a non-standard view of lower forms of life and their problems, which, at a low level, may contain deeper meaning than the person initially realizes, though this is not immediately apparent to anyone. If the person begins to interact more closely with lower life, driven by purely human impulses, they will encounter serious problems both in that life and in their own involvement, which will corner them and surround them with unspeakable chaos, making it very difficult to find a way out. More precisely, this will require the person to re-examine their views on lower life, their attitude toward it, and perhaps the very concept of humanity. Overall, this is a very promising aspect, as working with it allows one, through involvement in another’s life, to understand the specifics of their own evolutionary “tails,” i.e., inadequately low subconscious programs, to see them, and to change them to align more with the spiritual image. However, to do this, one must first learn to view lower life in the planet’s spheres and its problems with objective and attentive eyes, overcoming corresponding social stereotypes: a cow may not be a microcosm, but it is still closer to a human than to a milk factory.
