Biquintile of Venus: The philosopher goes deep, the politician rises up, while the common person splashes in a puddle of irresponsibility. This aspect brings in the areas of the Planet a socialized attitude toward lower forms of life, meaning the individual is under strong influence of social stereotypes. At a low level, this has rather positive implications (for example, the principle “children and animals should not be harmed”), but at higher levels it may produce pronounced snobbery—that is, a marked separation and disdain (for instance, a city dweller’s contempt for provincial life, or a developed country’s condescension toward less developed nations). Deep work, especially on biquintiles to planets of the third and fourth levels, provides insight into social progress within the framework of karmic programs and the evolutionary development of humanity (which is not simple, as these processes are often directed oppositely). At a moderate level, the person will be interested in the lives of various social strata, especially lower ones, their typical problems and contradictions. Humanity. In its harmonious form, this aspect grants tact, charm, and ease of understanding in communication with lower social classes, an appreciation of the beauty in subhuman life forms (animals, plants, etc.), and natural joy in interacting with them (in the areas of the Planet). When afflicted, various emotions—including love and hatred—toward lower life forms may arise, during which one should always first seek expression of the humanity embedded within the individual. Biquintile of Pluto: A person’s spiritual level is determined by the amount of conscience they have managed to awaken in their era. In its well-integrated form, this aspect enables the individual to effectively engage with complex issues of lower life. To them, it appears as a bearer of fate, something inevitable, relentless, yet ultimately just and guiding them in the right direction. In its harmonious expression, the person easily perceives the inadequacies and weaknesses of lower life forms in the Planet’s spheres and finds the most painless ways to eliminate them. However, certain disappointments and irreversible losses await, as some lower forms cannot withstand scrutiny and (karmically) must be completely eradicated—a reality that may be difficult to accept, since these forms resonate within their subconscious, and the death of external life forms destroys something within themselves. When Pluto is afflicted, this process can be extremely painful, and the individual may become embittered, emotionally detaching themselves from lower life and its problems, thereby becoming its ruthless persecutor, seeing in it only evil deserving merciless destruction. In doing so, however, they destroy the human element within themselves, serving a cruel egregore and losing free will. Processing occurs through careful study of lower life forms with full respect for the laws of their development and their inherent ethics; only after this can the individual understand and love lower life forms, perceiving them as kin, so that any surgical intervention becomes healing and humane.
