Mars bi-quintile: The lying down are not beaten: people walk over them and wipe their feet. This aspect imparts activity and energy from the Planet directed toward interaction with lower forms of life. Affliction of Mars will make this energy destructive, though the person may not notice this immediately and may sincerely believe that everything emanating from them toward lower life is beneficial (although it, being foolish and ungrateful, often fails to understand this and attempts to protest). If the Planet itself is afflicted, the individual may become a tormentor of lower life, such as a cruel governor (a more prosaic example, for instance, with Mars bi-quintile Mercury—a strict schoolteacher who suppresses any expression of students’ vitality and is aggressively dissatisfied with their knowledge in their subject). In the harmonious variant, this aspect enables one to easily find an appropriate way to participate in the affairs of lower forms of life and, with minimal effort, gain great dividends from it; however, one should not speculate on this, otherwise the opportunities for expressing and developing humanity within oneself will be irreversibly lost. Proper work with this aspect brings energetic and skillful involvement in the development of imperfect life, while simultaneously allowing the individual to grow, gaining the ability to soften their own lower aggressive subconscious programs by directing energy in a more refined and constructive manner. Uranus bi-quintile: From a mouse’s point of view, purring is indistinguishable from thunder. This aspect brings great surprises and extravagant manifestations both in the person’s interactions with lower forms of life and in the behavior of these life forms themselves, in which contradictions may suddenly intensify and explosions occur, including in their relationship with the person. If Uranus is afflicted, establishing a stable, constructive contact with lower life will prove practically impossible, although some of the person’s ideas may be potentially very fruitful, and the behavior of life forms and their crises may be highly significant, and if the person learns to perceive and interpret them as signs of fate (both of lower life and their own). A harmonious Uranus will bring more acceptable, though initially still incomprehensible, expressions—both the person’s ideas regarding lower forms of life and the manifestations of these forms themselves—but here most catastrophes will pass without significant casualties and may provide energy for solving difficult tasks. Still, speaking of constructiveness here is possible only if the person has worked with Uranus; sudden breakthroughs into the inner self and abrupt, unexpected manifestations of the human principle are possible even without such work; unfortunately, they vanish as quickly and suddenly as they appear.
