Saturn Square Chiron Transit

Saturn Square: The steps of the evolutionary ladder are not carpeted. Saturn’s square presents a person with a problem of deep introspection, developing inner discipline, and seeking truth in silent focus within the spheres of the planet’s influence. The issue lies in the fact that, on one hand, the person is drawn to the planetary principle, wanting to deeply understand and master it, while on the other, attempts at such study encounter strong resistance—both external and internal. The learning process proves to be extremely difficult, requiring far more concentration and effort than the person currently possesses, and chaotic external and internal forces constantly pull them away from this pursuit. After several unsuccessful attempts, the principle of the planet (and, to a large extent, all areas of its influence) becomes frozen and is perceived by the person as unattainable, though subconsciously it remains intensely desirable.
The subconscious reacts with various defense mechanisms that tie the person to this disharmonious situation—for example, complexes of inferiority and neuroses arise, protecting them from situations that activate the planet but unfortunately come with side effects (such as increased general nervousness, etc.). If the square is stronger than the planet, it may replace its principle with part of Saturn’s purely Saturnian spheres, suppressing discipline and focus; for instance, a Venus–Saturn square with a strong Saturn may (at a low level) manifest as rigidity and crudeness in social contacts and love, while with a strong Venus, it can instead lead to frivolity and indiscrimination in relationships (especially if the square is in a mutable sign). In any case, the heart remains frozen.
Saturn’s square makes the natural expression of the planetary principle impossible—here, the person requires wisdom and precise adherence to the karmic program, which in this place (as if by design!) is extremely subtle and winding. It is like being asked to carve wood with an axe or to dance a ballroom dance in a diving suit. When the person begins, every movement is clumsy, crude, and unsatisfactory from any perspective, yet the desire to learn and ambition may be immense. Much depends on the person themselves—their inner honesty and overall drive to actualize themselves and participate in the evolutionary process (as they understand it).
Working through Saturn’s square grants the person subtlety, wisdom, and the ability to recognize and help develop corresponding abilities in others when they are not yet visible to anyone else.
Chiron Square: Once submerged in the depths of life’s flow, there is no need to blow bubbles without purpose. Chiron’s square presents a person with strong, incomprehensible, and seemingly insurmountable dead ends in the areas of the planet’s influence, which they are in no hurry to open. If the square is in a fixed sign, these may be minor cul-de-sacs that constantly change, yet behind them, one can discern one large, recurring one.
Chiron’s square signifies a karmic demand to view the planet and its related issues in a non-standard way, specifically to seek their source in one’s own imperfections, the disharmony of subconscious programs, and adherence to social stereotypes—which Chiron always overcomes, and in the case of a square, most intensely. Chiron’s square does not allow the person to follow ordinary views and stereotypes in the relevant spheres: they quickly lead the action into a dead end, and an incredible chaos arises, behind which something stands—but what exactly remains unclear.
At an average level, the person may develop an attitude akin to black humor, which is better than panic but is still not constructive. Here, the person must sort themselves out, understand the role of the planetary principle in their life (external and internal), and do something constructive from Chiron’s perspective—that is, materialize certain subtle plans tied to the planet. This usually manifests as a materialized miracle, yet one that can be taught to others.
At a high level, this aspect grants a breakthrough into great creativity in the spheres tied to the planet and the ability to discover an original talent in others, though it also brings a sense of dissatisfaction with one’s own methods and specific achievements, as if someone behind the person, with undisguised mockery turning into outright derision, asks: “And?”
At a low level, the person may set a goal to discredit any creative manifestations of the planetary principle and, to some extent, succeed in this, especially regarding their own self.
