Moon Quintile Chiron
(Transit. Moon → Natal Chiron)
Avelom Podvodnyi. Aspects
Moon quintile: Bream, zander, and roach are equally necessary for evolution, yet for some reason bream tastes better. This aspect imparts inner liveliness and intrinsic interest in the areas ruled by the planet, evoking in the individual a genuine emotional response and an impulse toward inner development in a new direction. The Moon’s failure brings great life forces into the planet’s domains, which, however, struggle to manifest outwardly, likely resulting in frustrations akin to a poplar tree whose branches are pruned each spring—and even a good portion of its trunk. If this aspect remains unworked, instinctive vitality degenerates, becoming coarser and even vulgar; an unworked Moon is a master at profaning anything whatsoever. For example, the Moon-Venus quintile at a high level bestows authentic, living art created instinctively by the individual, essentially an extension of their life; when people encounter this art, on one hand they recognize themselves and the world around them, and on the other, they perceive it illuminated by significantly higher vibrations (Venus—of aesthetics), and intuitively (Moon) attuning to this stream, they illuminate their inner and outer world, primarily. At a low level, this quintile signifies perceiving any living loving or social relationships solely from the standpoint of physiology and self-interest, for instance, a position such as: “if a person doesn’t spend money on me and doesn’t want to sleep with me, the relationship is hopeless.” Chiron quintile: Life, unlike the person studying it, never reaches a dead end. This is a highly promising aspect, provided one undertakes its development, as it grants in the planet’s spheres the perception and materialization of life in those manifestations where it was previously almost imperceptible. For example, the Chiron-Moon quintile bestows the ability to perceive a person’s biofield and organs; at a high level, it may enable healing through “conversations” with various body parts and internal organs as living beings possessing distinct characters and rudimentary consciousness (according to yogic teachings, the liver is stubborn and responds better to gentle persuasion, and so on). The Chiron quintile may produce anecdotal manifestations of life in objects and the most opportune moments (a hot frying pan, as if alive, slips from the hands and scurries under the cabinet), creating unimaginable chaos of uncontrolled life expressions that initially often sound humorous, but, when systematically repeated over a prolonged period, may deeply penetrate the subconscious or fundamentally expand one’s understanding of life and one’s responsibilities toward it. For instance, Mercury quintile Chiron in the fourth house may mean that a person will have to rationally acknowledge as living certain members of their family who (as they initially believe) completely lack this quality, at least in the areas where Mercury is placed. Yet eventually, the Chiron quintile provides an exit from life’s developmental dead ends, including within the family.
