Your child sees their mother as practically inaccessible and a very unusual woman. To them, Mom appears to be a free-thinking, intellectually oriented person who loves all things new.

Emotionally, Aquarius tends to be cool and detached. Yet your child may be openly friendly and sociable with everyone they meet. They love the world, love their friends, love you… but it’s best if none of you get too close. You intrude upon their aura, take away their air. They suffocate. Coldness arises—or they simply withdraw to seek new friends. They will return later, perhaps with cheerful greetings, and stay—until you squeeze them again. The key is not to impose too many of your own standards or conventions upon them.
This child needs to be themselves, unique, not who others want them to be. They need a domain in which they can be unconventional: this could be their clothing style, chosen activities, or their personal ideas and philosophy.
Your child always carries a bit of rebellion. Allow them to rebel against something else—but not against you. Of course, there are certain standards they must uphold. But you’ll resolve the most important issues more successfully if you’re willing to compromise on less significant ones.
You’ll communicate more effectively with your child by using a rational, intellectual approach rather than an emotional one, as they feel uncomfortable with emotional displays and may be intolerant of those who lose control. Remain calm and composed.
