Sesquiquadrate of Venus: Knowing how one should and should not behave, it is also important to understand what to do in all other cases. At a low level, a person in the spheres of the Planet will be characterized by social and aesthetic dogmatism and rigid perception based on fixed, inflexible attitudes. Such people turn artistic discoveries into rigid artistic methods, which often amounts to artistic murder; in social programs, such rigidity may provide strength capable of controlling the masses, but creative individuals will avoid it, and the person may develop a Salieri complex. For example, a sesquiquadrate Venus-Uranus at a low level may produce a dogmatic aesthetic realization of brilliant ideas, which most often perish as a result, although the person rarely notices this. Proper integration leads to remarkable mastery in art related to the Planet’s spheres, or to subtle and refined handling of social issues—essentially, working within large egregores using tools that initially seemed inconvenient and unsuitable: brushes, paints, newspaper and magazine columns. However, this requires recognizing and acknowledging one’s poor command of artistic and social management tools, and, most importantly, becoming aware of the imperfection and limitations of one’s perception, which can be psychologically very difficult; it is much easier to project one’s own vision onto others, demonstrating through examples that the subtleties they perceive are illusory and insignificant. Sesquiquadrate of Neptune: An idolater in any religion is an idolater. At a low level of integration, this person will clumsily lie or fall into mistaken situations in the Planet’s spheres, perceiving this as inevitable and sometimes even constructive. For example, an unprocessed sesquiquadrate Jupiter-Neptune will likely make a person susceptible to flattery, which may become their primary weapon, frequently leading them astray—though self-awareness in this matter is difficult. This aspect at a low level imposes overly rigid boundaries of understanding and overly formalized meditation paths in the Planet’s spheres, mostly quite low, which the person, however, considers exemplary and precisely leading where they should. For instance, a sesquiquadrate Moon-Neptune may establish once and for all a specific rest ritual involving alcohol consumption, drunken arguments, and a hangover the next day, rendering any other recreational ideas inconceivable. At a high level, the person grasps subtle paths of development in the Planet’s spheres and revitalizes meditation practices; for example, worn prayer paths become overgrown with living flowers of delicate, fluid, and never-repeating religious feelings and experiences—this is the path of saints who transcend the dogma of the official church.
