Saturn Sextile: A person’s life should be worth understanding. A Saturn sextile gives a person opportunities for deep elaboration in the spheres ruled by the Planet. One must, however, be able to see these opportunities, as Saturn’s signature, especially at low levels of its elaboration, makes a person think more about their misfortunes related to external limitations than about the development and elaboration of not-so-obvious plans and prospects. At the same time, Saturn’s influence makes a person internally serious and purposeful in the spheres ruled by the Planet, but they must realize this themselves, rather than repressing it into the subconscious (which is quite possible at a low level and especially in a fiery-airy horoscope). Saturn suggests that a person delve deeply into the Planet’s problem, understand the influence of its principle on inner life, and only then take active external steps. It promises deep penetration into the Planet’s mysteries, wise mastery and control over it – but within the framework of karma, which in this case imposes significant limitations, and one must learn to see them. At the moment of the sextile’s activation, a person experiences a certain freezing, external and internal inhibition, which seems to invite them to look more closely within themselves and thoroughly deal with the Planetary principle (usually based on a specific problem arising from the intensification of external or internal limitations). If a person stubbornly ignores Saturn’s suggestions, Saturn can freeze the Planet, and then the person will study its principle under duress. For example, attempts at a frivolous attitude towards love (in all its forms) with a Saturn-Venus sextile can result in an utterly heartless person, whom karma will later send, for instance, a passionately loved and equally indifferent granddaughter, forcing them to experience torments similar to those they once caused themselves. Neptune Sextile: If you can understand – understand, for there will be no other such opportunity. A Neptune sextile gives a person opportunities for true understanding of the Planet’s principle, but these require a certain effort from them, often not of the kind a person is ready for or accustomed to. Neptune causes distortions of reality, both external and internal, and the elaboration of the sextile means moving away from crude distortions and illusions, which are called deceit and self-deceit, towards subtle ones; some of them are called art, others – meditation, still others – prayer… Therefore, the choice offered by a Neptune sextile often has the character of a crude temptation; by sincerely rejecting it (which may require a great deal of internal effort and processing), a person receives a more subtle distortion and a more subtle temptation from Neptune, and so on. At some point, the level and way of seeing the Planetary principle suddenly become such that they can be a revelation for other people – if the person manages to convey their vision to them, which also requires certain effort. At a high level, a Neptune sextile gives a subtle understanding of the Planetary principle and its inclusion in such vibrations of the energy flow that an impression of revelation or a religious miracle arises. At the same time, the person may be poorly aware of what exactly and why they are doing it in that particular way, but the feeling of the flow’s height and simultaneously strong resistance of the material will be indirect signs of the achieved perfection. At a low level, a Neptune sextile offers many opportunities for deceit and self-deceit, but also a feeling of attraction from the Planet, a sense of ecstasy when mastering its principle. However, this will require much effort, and especially the development of internal honesty in evaluating one’s real achievements. If the Planet is afflicted, it is possible to escape troubles into a world of illusions, which Neptune, of course, will help with, but later cruel disappointments or blows of fate will begin. False pity differs from true compassion, which a person perfectly feels when they are directed at them.
