This aspect is a sign of unyielding willpower, impervious to random emotional or sensual influences. The individual firmly resists external pressures, possesses significant moral strength, and maintains an unshakably sober mind. Their paths are as inscrutable as the ways of the Lord; they may even reach fanaticism if supported by other features of their natal chart.

Saturn Conjunction: Over time, it slows down on its own. The challenge is to notice it. A planet’s conjunction with Saturn compresses and freezes its principle; the karmic demand lies in deep processing, particularly freeing the planet’s principle from superficial egoistic programs that demand payment for even minor efforts. For example, Saturn conjunct Mercury produces a person who poorly comprehends things they haven’t thought through, and fighting this is futile. If the individual—typical of low-level processing—tries to ignore Saturn’s intense pressure to think long and carefully, their rational mind will literally seize up, losing all reasoning entirely, and they will experience the creativity of the Absolute in the form of absurd and tragic situations, or sheer laziness and irresponsibility. At the initial stage of processing the Saturn conjunction, withdrawal into oneself and contemplation of the planet’s principle within one’s life and philosophy is required, often motivated by prolonged external restrictions. Further processing occurs under less rigid conditions, but here the individual must cultivate voluntary humility and voluntary submission to the planet’s principle when it becomes active, yielding exceptional results and breakthroughs into great creativity in the planet’s domains—though initially, it’s hard to believe due to the conjunction’s negative magnitude, often a sense of inferiority. Yet simultaneously, there is an exceptionally strong and deep inner drive to master the planet’s principle. Uranus Conjunction: The magnitude of what it accomplishes can only be described as manic. This is a difficult aspect, as in the domains governed by the planet conjunct Uranus, the individual—willingly or not—sometimes becomes a guinea pig of the Absolute, whose ways are inscrutable, especially at first. Overall, this is a very powerful aspect, and if the individual adapts to the rhythm of fate in the planet’s areas and learns to read—or at least heed—the karmic signs sent their way, they will not only protect themselves (and others) from numerous troubles but also manifest extraordinarily unconventional worldviews. Unfortunately, they are likely to greatly overestimate their value: these diamonds require cutting, after which only a much smaller diamond remains. If the conjunction is heavily afflicted, the planet’s burden may become unbearable, making it difficult for the individual to remain within socially acceptable norms in the relevant areas. Many of their ideas and actions will be incomprehensible to others, and the shadow of a psychiatric hospital may loom over them. They must learn to ground their fantasies and smooth out acute states, which can be aided by harmonious aspects to the planet or its dispositor. As always, processing Saturn and cultivating respect for external reality (working on the 4th house) and a sense of humor (working on Chiron) are helpful. With harmonious aspects to the planet, this conjunction is most dangerous for those around them, especially those who activate the planet; yet it is precisely with them that its unexpected inventiveness, bursts of ideas, and energy manifest.
