Sun – Mars Conjunction
(Transit Sun → Natal Mars)
Different sources for the child’s horoscope
Your child is highly active, goal-oriented, but also impatient. They can easily get angry but just as easily calm down.
Het Monster. Aspects
Willpower and courage, a masculine aspect. The house where the conjunction is located is marked by high activity; the same applies to houses where the Sun and Mars are rulers. Quick temper, irritability. Failure in military matters. The aspect of magicians (if Mars is ahead of the Sun — “wonderworker,” if Mars is behind the Sun — “sorcerer”).
Catherine Aubier. Astrological Dictionary
Conjunction: a person strives for self-realization, expressing aggression and activity. This is energy, independence, boldness (all shades depend on the sign where the conjunction is located). Initiative, an active nature, impatience. For a woman whose chart contains this aspect, the image of a “knight without fear or reproach” is especially appealing.

Sun conjunction: If you call yourself a mushroom, climb into the basket. A planet’s conjunction with the Sun gives its manifestations an imperative shade — at a high level of processing the aspect. At a low level, the imperative is more about the necessity of processing the planet. The Sun illuminates the lower manifestations of its principle and actualizes it, mainly through direct pressure. At a low level of processing the Sun, it acts through rigid imperatives imposed on the planet, suppressing its creative essence and forcing its principle to manifest within very narrow limits it cannot fit into; excessive internal tension and an outburst arise, and the Absolute’s creativity manifests both in the moment and nature of the explosion (unpredictable in advance) and in the form and trajectories of the debris. If the conjunction is unprocessed but stands harmoniously, these outbursts will be more dangerous for others, and the planet’s creative essence will only appear as a path of rigidly egoistic consumption in spheres corresponding to its principle. For example, an unprocessed Sun–Mars conjunction gives great but futile activity, which, however, seems extremely important and useful to the person themselves, and on the other hand, the ability to completely drain another person’s energy, leaving them literally without strength or even a hint of gratitude. Processing the conjunction (and the Sun) will shift to a higher egregor, where the solar initiative operates above the level of rigid orders, acting as a guideline for desired direction and, most importantly, attention. Then the interaction between the Sun and the planet becomes significantly easier, and the planet receives from the Sun a kind of weak magnetization that serves as orientation in complex (for the planet) conditions when the optimal choice is not obvious. Mars conjunction: True strength is invisible. True power is intangible. A conjunction with Mars gives the planet strength, which at a low level is destructive. The planet’s principle seems inflated by energy, but lacking the ability to channel it constructively, it most often manifests as aggression and destruction. For example, an unprocessed Mars–Moon conjunction leads to aggression toward one’s own body, while with Saturn it creates extraordinary obstacles when attempting self-reflection or concentration — for instance, a window suddenly shatters from a football hitting it. Here, processing does not focus on taming excessive energy in the areas governed by the planet (though this skill is initially necessary) but on refining the energy of the conjunction, raising its vibrations. For example, with a Mars–Moon conjunction, it is better not to develop musculature but to learn to control psychic energy (higher stages of hatha yoga, autogenic training, etc.), and with a Mars–Saturn conjunction, it is better to direct efforts not toward resisting temptations or distractions but toward concentration. At a high level, Mars provides the planet with precisely the energy it needs in any given situation and qualitatively enhances its creative potential, but this requires recognizing the fallacy of the attractive principle “strong means good” and eliminating the subjugation of the planet to Mars, which is typical of low and medium levels. Especially in a Mars–Venus conjunction, a person may long perceive and value beauty only through the lens of visible strength.
Frances Sakoian. Aspects
Willpower and courage, a masculine aspect. Houses where this occurs are marked by high activity, as are houses where the Sun and Mars are rulers. A tendency toward aggression and arrogance — the Sun’s principle of authority expresses itself through Mars’ principle. How aggression manifests depends on the sign and house where the Sun and Mars are rulers.
S.V. Shestopalov. Aspects of Planets
The qualities of these aspects are quick-tempered, impatient, strong character, fiery, hot-headed, passionate, impulsive, aggressive, hasty, reckless, willful, stubborn, touchy, very self-centered; a tendency to get into dangerous situations; a propensity for danger, risk, carelessness, impatience, recklessness, foolhardy bravery, harshness, bluntness, excessive candor, conflict, enemies; an unyielding nature. For women, this position is unfavorable for marriage. If a person works on themselves, it can bring strength, willpower, ambition, energy, the ability to quickly grasp and assess situations, make swift decisions, and act in dangerous circumstances, fighting for a just cause, honesty, and disdain for danger.
