BaZi, or 'Four Pillars of Destiny', describes the moment of birth with four pairs of Chinese signs: year, month, day and hour. Each pair has a heavenly stem and an earthly branch with its own element.
Enter the birth date, time, and place. The birth hour is required: without it, the fourth pillar cannot be calculated.

The BaZi year boundary is calculated from the solar term Lichun, around February 4th, not from the Chinese New Year. For those born during this period, the animal year in BaZi and in the common horoscope differs.
