The surrounding world is so diverse that even with significant experience, life still has much to surprise us. The most striking contrasts occur when joy coexists with pain in a person’s eyes, flowers bloom amid ruins, and children play to the sound of sirens. We have heard much from others or read in books, but only when situations are seen by your eyes, felt by your heart, and understood by your mind does this knowledge remain with us forever. We are learning so much now because our reality strikes us with contrasts every day. And I believe that despite the variety of possibilities, we will learn to love wholeheartedly, empathize with everyone on their path, and never lose faith in goodness and light.
