Jupiter quintile: A large number of locust species will not disturb a truly faithful believer. In its harmonious variant, this is an exceptionally life-affirming aspect: in the areas of the planet, the individual will experience breadth and a great quantity of life expressions, though not necessarily of the highest quality. At a low level, there will be a tendency to consume them; for example, a harmonious Jupiter-Venus quintile produces a lover of life with an erotic emphasis, whose charm is very difficult for the opposite sex to resist. Defeat of Jupiter at a low level produces life expressions in the planet’s sphere that may disgust others, but the person, absorbed in themselves, often does not notice this. Here there will be many life expressions, but they will grossly fail to correspond to the environment’s needs and the forms in which they grew up, which may lead to serious troubles, the karmic meaning of which for the individual being that when opening possibilities of life expression for others and expressing themselves, one should care about how much these expressions are needed and suitable for them: Jupiter demands this automatically, but requires special efforts from the person. Working through this aspect brings in the planet’s areas a broad and strong life current, support for the development of many life forms, and the ability to enliven seemingly hopelessly dead forms doomed to destruction. In the harmonious variant, without proper processing, the person will either feed many parasites with their vitality, or eventually become one of them. Neptune quintile: The River of Life flowing into the Ocean of Universal Love originates in the swamp of Compassion. This aspect gives life vitality to meditation, and at a high level – genuine understanding of the planetary life principle and any of its manifestations. At a low level, especially when the quintile is afflicted, the person will be interested in and active primarily in parasitic life forms related to deception, false positions, and secret use of others’ life currents in the planet’s spheres. When Neptune is afflicted, the individual may have a tendency toward the lowest forms of life among all those manifesting in this particular backward form, and then will defend them to the detriment of others; here, processing occurs mainly in the inner world, and sometimes the person needs to descend to the very bottom of the corresponding puddle in order to renounce the pleasures of dirty life (which they oppose to pure lifelessness), although sometimes half its depth is sufficient: the important thing is only not to close one’s eyes to what is actually happening. There is a characteristic unconscious feeling of guilt before life in the planet’s spheres, which the person tries to suppress or clumsily compensate for. Affliction of the planet with harmonious Neptune produces the effect of rose-colored glasses: the person is happy with any life manifestations in the planet’s areas, and finds it difficult to distinguish low from high, or to understand their combinations at all, so they may get into unpleasant situations trying to protect what should not be protected from whom it should not be. The harmonious quintile gives mystical fascination with the planetary life principle, combined with a certain passivity and a tendency to parasitize within it; at a high level – the ability to detect life under incredible conditions and assist its development.
