Sun semi-square: Fate places a person under harsh conditions only when there is absolutely no way out. This aspect imparts rigid forms of possible volitional expressions in the areas ruled by the Planet, and certain (fated) types of imperative situations to which the person will have to adapt, even though it will be unpleasant. For example, the Sun-Venus semi-square may bring a high degree of preprogramming (that is, a limited number of possible storylines) in social and romantic relationships, where the plot suddenly begins to exceed expected boundaries, and the person, by their own will, forcefully tries to fit it back in, often distorting and maiming their own and others’ feelings and destinies, without understanding, without understanding, without understanding. At a low level of integration, the Sun semi-square is a very difficult aspect—this represents, in the Planet’s domains, a form of servitude that the person pretends to be free of, at least in terms of their initiatives and reactions to external imperative circumstances. Here, imagination is lacking; however, on the other hand, in some cases, this person can be relied upon more than anyone else, and with harmonious major aspects between the Sun and the Planet, they may become the ideal executor of clear and precise (to them) instructions and orders. There is a characteristic unconscious feeling of constrained will and limited initiative, which gradually weakens (but never completely disappears) as the person begins to engage with issues in the Planet’s sphere that are not personally connected to them; however, this will initially manifest awkwardly, with possible traumas both in the external world and psychological ones, along with a complex of one’s own inappropriateness, awkwardness, and inadequacy. Pluto semi-square: The mafia should be buried in bulletproof coffins. At a low level, this person will tend to ruthlessly eradicate evil in the Planet’s domains according to their clear conceptions of it, and precisely in the clarity and definiteness of these conceptions lies both their strength and, simultaneously, the limitation of their evolutionary development—which they will understand much later. For example, the Moon-Pluto semi-square may produce a great censor, an oncological surgeon, or a psychotherapist; but in any case, this person will have a clear image of evil and well-practiced techniques for its destruction. In inner life, this aspect brings rigidity and uncompromising attitudes toward certain personal flaws, which strangely coexists with the ignoring of others, and here the person should act indirectly, working on improving the external world in its interests or other areas of the inner world, and only then will their Plutonian tools—be it a set of toothbrushes or clothing brushes, depending on Pluto’s position in the first or fifth house, respectively—become effective. An unprocessed aspect may bring deep inner traumas, as well as fatal disharmonious circumstances in external life, which will be karma’s reaction to the conscious or unconscious cruelty displayed by the person in attempts at crude “cleansing” of the Planet’s spheres without understanding their true problems.
