Uranus semisquare: Real difficulties begin when a person stops accommodating their own concept. At a high level of integration, this aspect grants ingenuity in assembling structures from ready-made blocks within the sphere of the Planet, where the individual will receive the most unexpected and sometimes brilliant ideas, yet ultimately the house they design and build will be comfortable and cozy only for other people—if the person carefully considers their wishes, and from their own point of view, the house will still turn out lifeless, albeit original in construction. For example, someone with a semisquare Moon-Uranus and Uranus in the sixth house might devise an excellent system of physical exercises or techniques for self-control, relaxation, etc., which will produce only an external, superficial effect for themselves, yet prove highly effective and meaningful for others, and it is precisely toward them that they should orient this system. At a low level, this aspect brings rigidity and capriciousness within the Planet’s spheres—caprices the person cannot explain but feels compelled to uphold, often hurting both others and themselves. These signs should be noted, but interpreting them correctly will be difficult; there is a particular danger of dogmatic and straightforward interpretations, especially when the semisquare is afflicted, which may escalate into obsession. This aspect grants within the Planet’s spheres a somewhat crude sense of humor and confidence in the non-standard and original nature of one’s approaches, as well as the ability to find a way out of any dead end. Chiron remains true to itself: here it offers structures and methods that must be deciphered by viewing them from an unconventional and barely conceivable perspective, which in this case means (among other things) from another person’s viewpoint or that of an egregore. Until the person does so, they will continually encounter dead ends in the Planet’s spheres (especially if Chiron is afflicted), along with associated viewpoints of the person, acquaintances, trusted and effective methods that turn out to be entirely different in reality—but one must know how to see this. Harmonious Chiron and Planet will greatly soften the negative effects of the semisquare, and the methods the person employs in the Planet’s sphere will appear clever and constructive, yet still, without thorough work and attention deliberately directed toward other people, they will possess significant hidden flaws that will inevitably surface at critical moments.
